A simple hotel that is close to Regent Street where you can get some coffee.

The hotel is opposite the New Regent Street with shops and restaurants and the Cathedral Square just round the corner. Walking to bus stop of Route no. 8 to the airport on Hereford Street is easy and takes less than 15 minutes. There are toilets at the lift lobby for customers before final departure. The room is decorated with beautiful pictures. Nespresso capsules are really a morning treat for customers who need a cup of coffee, rather than the standard travellers coffee sachets.

Staff at this hotel is nice and helpful. Our room key is not working at the beginning, they change the room for us very quickly. And the room is clean and comfortable.

I would recommended this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. Close to the tram station to go explore Christchurch city. The are so quite and good sleeping.

A really nice hotel with great hospitality. A little surprise from the hotel staff for our 4th anniversary. Love the handwritten card as well ❤️ highly recommended.

We will definitely come back again for this hotel stay. Front desk service is good and location is nice.

They charged 100 nzd for deposit AND recorded credit card information. So if you see any suspicious bank activity the staffs from this hotel have high possibility to cause the credit card fraud. No fork. Too many drinks in the refrigerator so you have little space to store your own food. Dont stay here!

The front desk staff were pleasant and efficient. The breakfast staff were also pleasant and efficient. The hotel was clean and beautifully appointed. My room was 1415 and this gave me an amazing outlook over the city ( new stadium, band rotunda and to the mountains covered in snow). Well done. Also most convenient to attend an evening performance at the Isaac Theatre. Thank you

The Fables was a fantastic hotel on a great location. Staff where helpful, rooms clean and well presented. Totally recommend staying.

Good Hotel, but quite expensive.

This was my second time staying at this hote. and I had another enjoyable and relaxing stay here. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and professional and provide excellent service; it's just little things like the cleaning staff saying hello etc that I really like. The room is great; I found the bed to be very comfortable, and it has all the amenities one needs; nespresso machine, an iron, nice toiletries offered, tea and coffee was good quality etc. There's a good view of the central city from the window too. So my overall experience was very good, and I would gladly recommend it and look forward to staying again.

I love this hotel and it location is excellent. it is facing to a street with lot of foods. We stay in the Christmas time and there is a live band out there!!

The location is ok, close to lots of restaurants and sights, but the amenities are dated and needs some refurbishment, especially walls are so paper thin that you can hear your neighbors clearly.
