Travelodge Christchurch

Lovely stay for the weekend in a Dorset with the family to meet our brother in law who lives in London. Got the train into Bournemouth which wasn’t a very long journey at all because realised there was no beach in Christchurch just a beautiful quay . Train station is about a 10 min walk away. With loads of history x the place is lovely would highly recommend going. Hotel was clean and staff couldn’t do enough for you. People Are really friendly there too even the traffic warden who checked the cars which was a car park on Iceland in the shopping centre.l for the hotel which you had to do via a parking app.

Great central location, room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the staff were amazingly kind, friendly and very professional- really enjoyed the visit - have to mention Lynn and Kat in Reception who were always very helpful and friendly - will stay there again.

We booked our room about a week prior for one night to extend a planned break in Dorset. The room was only £27 and was lovely and comfortable. We think it had recently been refurbished as it was very clean and fresh looking (#412). The reception / bar / restaurant area also looked new, fresh and welcoming and other refurb work was taking place on the ground floor. We didn’t have a drink or anything to eat at the hotel as we had other plans. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable, the pillows weren’t to my comfort but not a problem for one night. The shower was really powerful and the toiletries in the bathroom smelt lovely! Parking was £7 for 24 hrs underneath the hotel. A taxi into Bournemouth Square was £6.20.

Great location. Right next door to Iceland and across the road from M&S. Walking distance to the High Street with lots of shops, transport and the famous Quay.

Lovely place to stay .Right off Christchurch high street .Staff really friendly and helpful . Beds are comfy and rooms are clean . Plenty of resturants and take aways close by. Parking close by can be paid via a car park app .Plenty to do and see all pretty close by .

Declined to stay. Room was dirty, lift broken. Carpets were stained, bed was worn and bathroom needed refurb. Had to drag heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs.
