SpringHill Suites Chula Vista Eastlake

This is by far the nicest Springhill that has been built. The new 4 month old hotel is very upscale with a relaxed open air lobby and bar. The heated pool and outdoor patio with grills is superior. The owner put a great amount of money into the hotel to create a resort vibe. The area is very safe, next to many shopping and food eateries and expensive residential area. There are a large number of groups on deployment so rates are high and space is limited. The hotel has 179 rooms, 5 floors, a large free parking lot, free breakfast, and a glassed in pool area (so nice). It is located about 10 minutes from Sesame place and First Credit Union Amphitheater.

I love this new property. Before the visit, I requested extra pillows and extra towels using the Marriott app. I was pleasantly surprised when the room had extra pillows and towels. The staff was nice and greeted everyone at arrival and exit. Our stay was for 3 nights. We visited the bar area at night and the bartenders were cheerful, nice, and outgoing. The windows behind the bar open out to the patio, which is a nice modern touch. The bar staff interacted with the guests and all the laughter in the air made it feel much more than the typical hotel bar. After getting my morning coffee on the last day, I walked out to the pool area. It is absolutely beautiful. We visit Eastlake about 4 times a year to check in on family. We are already looking forward to our next visit at SpringHill Suites.

I stayed for over a month in this new hotel with beautiful furnishings and surroundings. Hotel staff are super friendly: front desk, bar, breakfast area, housekeeping. Especially Alejandra she is so charming. I would definitely stay again and I highly recommend this hotel.
