Bella Perla Marina

We went to Cienfuegos with a friend to stay one night. The big duplex is amazing with such nice and furniture it’s like being in another century. Our hosts were really charming and have 3 small dogs. We spent only one night but we were really happy to stop by there place and enjoy the rooftop terrasse.

We had high expectations of this casa as it scores well in TripAdvisor and is also recommended by The Lonely Planet. I had already back in February 2022 booked the double room including breakfast for 40€/night. When we arrived at the casa we were given the suite. Conscious of the considerable difference in price, I did mention that we had booked the normal room. Waldo said however that we could stay in the suite for the night for the price of the normal room but asked us not to use the jacuzzi in return. We found that totally reasonable and we were happy with the big luxurious bed in which we slept reasonably well (the room is located on a very noisy street). Tired of driving 6 hours that day, we asked whether we could have dinner in the casa. Big mistake on our part was to not asking the price beforehand. We got only 1 plate of rice with some shrimps in sauce and vegetables + a mango juice. No starters, no desserts. The next day, we got the worst breakfast of our trip. Black coffee, no milk at all, and very hard old bread (3 mini pieces per person), mango juice and some cut mango pieces. When checking out, the room was suddenly 45€ instead of the 40€ preagreed by email (then after pointing it out back to 40€ again) and the dinner was 20€ per person!!! We paid 80€ for 1 night and 2 plates of rice! We felt astronomically ripped off!

La casa de Waldo y Amileidis es hermosa, grandísima, fresca. Las habitaciones son grandes y cómodas, con todo lo necesario y más. La terraza es una belleza, ideal ver el atardecer desde ahí. Está en el centro y es accesible para todos lados. Amileidis y Waldo son dos amores de personas, amables y bien dispuestos. Conversamos mucho también. La súper recomiendo. Gracias por todo!

Riesen Maisonette mit en Suite Dusche und Jacuzzi. War wahrscheinlich mal ein Liebesnest eines reichen Gigolos. Von allen Casas, die wir in Kuba im November 2023 besucht haben, war das Bett im Bella Perla Marina mit Abstand das beste. Das Frühstück war dagegen mittelmäßig, obwohl die (nur spanisch sprechenden) Gastgeber sehr bemüht waren. Drei Dachterrassen stehen zur Verfügung, wobei nur die unterste Terrasse (wo es auch Frühstück serviert wird) sicher begehbar ist.

Хорошая квартира в отличном состоянии, всё работало, кондиционер, сантехника. терраса с красивым видом, очень вкусные завтраки. Хозяева делали всё для нашего комфорта. у них также есть 2 милых собачки Гала и Луна

MI pareja y yo estuvimos una noche con Waldo y su familia. Inmediatamente nos sentimos acogidos, ayudados y como en casa. Como se ve en las fotos, la casa cuenta con una decoración muy bonita y está pulcrísima. Sin duda recomendable, sin duda repetiríamos.
