Spark by Hilton Cincinnati Fairfield

This hotel was big enough and I liked the layout of the hotel. It wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed but as it was an overnight and out stay over, it was passable, Was a little over priced for the condition it was in and needs some freshening up, but wasn’t terrible

We stayed for 2 nights; we would have gone somewhere else but every other hotel in the area was booked due to family weekend at Miami. We did not have a working toilet in our room all weekend. We called the front desk to see if it could be fixed; we called 7 times from the phone in the room before googling the hotel number and calling the front desk from our personal phones. Only the did we finally get someone to answer. They dropped a plunger off at our door and said “call and let us know when you’re done with it.” Did not offer to help or stick around to make sure it was fixed. Thankfully we had a friend across the hall from us who shared their room key so we could go to the bathroom when needed throughout the night. Not only was the toilet completely backed up, but the shower also backed up when used. Every inch of the room was disgusting. There were dead flies stuck to the wall next to the bed. The a/c barely worked. There was water damage and mold in the hallway, and the ice machine on our floor was broken, even though we were told there was one on each floor. The entire place stunk, and we did not see a single housekeeping cart the entire time we were there. I would recommend staying literally ANYWHERE else.
