Ingleside House

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Ingleside for his 40th birthday. I opted for the deluxe king room (with bath) and I am so pleased I did. It was spacious and perfect! The restaurant (Teatro) links onto the hotel and the food was fantastic. The live music in the piano bar on Friday night was an added bonus and I would certainly recommend staying here. I opted for dinner, bed and breakfast but there wasn’t much in it going for this deal than paying for the room and the food on top of it. I would definitely recommend to any couple that want a night away with style, good food and entertainment.

This is my third stay at Ingleside which speaks for itself. Fantastic staff, beautifully decorated, well equipped rooms. Dinner was delicious & we were served in good time for the theatre. Breakfast service was also fantastic. I slept really well. I think it’s particularly important to mention that as a single lady, I feel very comfortable staying here alone. The staff are all lovely & can’t do enough to make your stay perfect & it was perfect. I will be staying again & would thoroughly recommend it whether you are going to a performance next door or simply visiting Cirencester.

What a great find in Cirencester. This was a hotel just how I like, with a family feel giving personal attention, great bar and restaurant on site and relaxing space - just like home. I always try to avoid the larger commercial sterile hotel chains in preference to coaching house / smaller local establishments, and this fitted the bill just right. Now on my list of places to stay when in the area.

Absolutely delightful little hotel. Beautifully decorated, clean and perfectly located. Staff were also very polite and friendly. We paid extra for breakfast and it’s definitely worth it, not the usual buffet, this was a la carte menu with great choices. The Teatro restaurant is also lovely and serves great food. One of the nights we sat at the bar with a live piano session which was really fun. I never give feedback but this little gem is really great. We will definitely visit again.

The Ingleside House Hotel in Cirencester was a truly exceptional hotel, blending timeless charm with modern comforts in a picturesque setting. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, with the check in being quick and easy. Our room (Walters) was lovely, charming and spacious, and enjoyed a view directly onto the river Churn. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom a great size, and the room provided everything we could have wanted. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at Ingelside, and the food proved to be superb and the service excellent, The location is another major selling point. Situated just a short walk from Cirencester’s charming town center, we walked there in 5 minutes and spent a very pleasant afternoon wandering around the shops and generally enjoying the surroundings. Thank you to the Ingelside team for making our stay memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with you and would stay again at your wonderful hotel without hesitation.

Arriving at this lovely building was a treat in itself and then the inside was even better - beautiful, quirky decor and a warm welcome from Sammy on reception. Our bedroom was warm and cosy and looked out over the River Churn. We had an early dinner in La Teatro before seeing The 3 Musketeers. Really delicious steaks with a tasty house red. My dairy allergy was not a problem and I felt I was in safe hands (Ditto for Breakfast, which was generous and tasty).
