Trivelles Park Hotel

The room was clean and quiet. Small shower though. My husband couldn't fit in it. Breakfast was included but the sausage was bad quality and the bacon was missing from the English breakfast... Overal not too bad for the price.

This was the dirtiest room I have ever been in, let alone paid to sleep in! The photos don't do it justice of how dirty it actually was. No-one on reception to complain to!! I wish I had taken more photos now but I couldn't get out of there quick enough!

AVOID AVOID AVOID if you book here you will pay twice as you'll want to change hotels! Bathroom and room so dirty that after arriving at 9.40pm we left at 11pm and booked another hotel, I prefer to book independent hotels but this has put me off. I struggle to even call this a one star!

I used to live next door to this hotel years ago when it was the Park Hotel, and then it was fine. I was up in Preston again so opted to stay here for old times sake. Oh dear! The hotel has obviously fallen on hard times and is in need of loads of TLC. It looks good from the outside but once inside it’s a sorry story. Scuff marks and worse all over the place and signs warning people to look out for iffy characters don’t inspire confidence. Also the annex is a rabbit warren and finding your room is a nightmare. My room (which was an upgrade) was in serious need of repair with wallpaper peeling off the walls m, strange marks and damp and scuff marks all over the place. The bathroom was okay but for some reason the shampoo dispenser had been removed. The breakfast was free but was only basic cereal, toast and juice. It wasn’t even a continental breakfast and worse still the only coffee offered was just the little packets of Nescafé available in the room. Also the breakfast was in a cold, soulless room so even eating a nice breakfast wouldn’t have been a nice experience. The one member of staff I met was pleasant enough but the owner really has to spend an awful lot of money on this once decent hotel. Either that or sell it on to someone who will. Would I stay here again? Sadly not.

FOUL PLACE. Disgusting. Hairs all over the place. Room smelt like urine. Nail clippings everywhere. Everything was broken. The room was just awful. Waste of my money as i had to book another room as I felt I would catch a disease sleeping there.

This is not a genuine 'hotel' and certainly not for families. We were duped by the 3/4 star rating online in an emergency after our train was stranded in Preston overnight. It does not feel safe. Lots of notices up about threats to call the police if inappropriate guest (male) behaviour witnessed. I did not like seeing this notice on the hotel walls. Door and fixings loose and unsafe and bases of bed absolutely filthy/ black mould over bathroom walls. I rarely write a review however I feel this is appears to be accommodation for roofless vulnerable individuals or used in a way to hide human trafficking. I did not sleep due to feeling my family were at risk.
