The kitchen you will see is fully stocked with cookware for your use, along with coffee and some snacks. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. First bedroom has a queen bed, sleeps 2 guests. Second bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds (4 Twin beds all together), sleeps 4 guests. Third bedroom (master) is a queen bed, sleeps 2 Guests. Master bedroom has a ceiling fan and a bathroom with shower. Main Bathroom has a bathtub along with the location of the washer and dryer machine. Both bathroom has shampoo, conditioners and body wash provided for guests. We also have a blow dryer located in the main bathroom. WiFi is available to guest. The Washer/Dryer is also available for your use. Guest does have a public access to the Chena River. A long the river you can experience the beautiful Alaskan Auroras and during the summer time you can kayak and fish right in the River. If you are traveling with little ones, we do have a pack n play bed available on site.Guest has access to the whole entire bnb on #A side of the duplex! Which includes a fully stock kitchen, a dinning area, living room, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. WiFi is available to guest. The Washer/Dryer is also available for your use. Guests also have access to the Chena River. There is a public spot that guests are welcome to go walk down to and even fish with the 2 fishing poles that are provided in the bnb for guests to use! Directions: when standing out front of the bnb facing river side, turn left and walk all the way down to the stop sign and take a right. Continue walking straight you will see the river! While the unit is advertised for a number of people, it is great for a couple as well. We bought a two bedroom log cabin in the 60's. In 1974 we built a two story addition to accommodate our six children. At the time we wired and plumbed one bedroom so it could someday be a kitchen. The downstairs of the addition consists of a double garage, sun room and dining room. The upstairs is where guests are welcome. It has four bedrooms, sitting area, kitchen and porch. We have rented it monthly for many years but this time it was vacated we decided to do it as a VRBO. We live in the cabin downstairs.Also on the property is a cabin that the original owner built for his parents and a barn that we built for our children and converted to a house when they were grown. We did bed and breakfast in them in the 1990's. At the time we registered the name Riverside Retreat. After a few years we decided to rent them on a monthly basis to have more time to play and travel. We can no longer do some of the things we used to do so are doing VRBO in the cabin too. We enjoy marrying people. We also enjoy sharing the space we have taken for granted for so many years. Nottingham House is a modern home with furnishings remodeled to accommodate visitors to the lovely city of Fairbanks. The home is a duplex, with the VRBO unit on the lower level. Because of the windows and the unit is walk out, it does not feel like a downstairs.The Nottingham House is located in the hills above Fairbanks, providing a quiet private location that is an easy drive to much to much of Fairbanks, including downtown, University of Alaska, Pioneer Park and the airport. The privacy allows quiet views of the stunning winter sunrises, as well as extended animal viewing in the back yard (we sometimes see moose!). With the large, south-facing windows, guests are able to experience the light of Fairbanks at all stages of the year.The unit can accommodate up to 8 guests with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen and living room area, a dining area, and laundry room. Additionally, there are two pullout couches: one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. Please note that more than 4 guests will add an additional charge of $25 each/night.The large primary bedroom has a queen bed, tiled bathroom, and has a sitting area with a pull out full bed that can be walled off with sliding pocket doors to create a semi-private second bedroom. Another tiled bathroom services the other bedroom, with queen bed, to accommodates the rest of your family. The kitchen is stocked with amenities and small appliances for preparing your meals. Contemporary, open kitchen and dining room invite warm family gatherings. The tiled showers and bathrooms are elegant and spacious.With its prime location and amenities, the Nottingham House is a perfect place to stay while visiting Fairbanks with your group.
