I cannot stress enough how FANTASTIC this place is. The concept behind the place and the fact that they are saving animals in need is a great thing. The animals are really well looked after and we were given numerous tours to see the animals which we loved. The hosts that looked after us (Martha & Eduardo )were exceptional and we both looked forward to our meal times and seeing them as every exchange was so nice. Genuinely two of the nicest people you could meet. We told Martha we were trying to learn Spanish and as a result she would be so patient with us and talk in as much Spanish as possible which we both really appreciated and loved. They were both so generous with their time and a day after leaving we both really miss them and this magical place. The accommodation is set really deep within the jungle which feels special. They have loads of blankets and 2 good heaters so it’s easy to stay warm and we were there in the coldest week of the year. There were two cooks (Jess and Sissy) and the food was wonderful. Really flavoursome and nice big portions to fill you up for the activities we had booked for the day. This place will forever be in my memory as one of my happiest times. Wonderful place to stay when in this city. Not only is the customer service great but the cabin is also a really quiet place to stay. The food is amazing. They had vegetarians options which I enjoyed. As well as sustainable practices such as reducing plastic with water provided in the room not being in disposable plastic. They gave great information on all the animals that they support who have been rescued. Eduardo and Marta were amazing! I’d highly recommend anyone stay here. Great location to micos Cascadas as well!

This is such a wonderful place to stay in the Huasteca Potosina. The cabins are very nice and clean. The hosts, Martha and Eduardo, and all the staff were so kind and helpful. But most important, the work they do to help animals is extraordinary!

Excellent stay, a lot of activities to do related outdoors activities and related to environmental and wildlife education, food is excellent and staff is amazing! The experience was very different to what I expected in a very positive way and food is just incredible, I'm definitely looking forward to going back staying for a longer period of time.

It was an awsome experience. We stayed in a cabin. The air conditioning worked well. There was hot water. The beds were comfy, pillows soft, food delicious (I am veggetarian and they preared meals specially for me). Glamping at its best. The host was very helpful. I love that they are educating people about preserving wildlife, as well as caring for animals that often can not return to the wild. The animals are well cared for and have nice enclosures that are usually large. If you go out with a guide for the night feeding you have the best chance of seeing big cats. The other activities we did in the area were incredible as well.

The concept is very well intense and has a great cause. However, the service itself and the personnel are not well equipped to service what they are charging. I do agree with other reviews that it is overpriced for what is being received. The room had a few glitches and they were attended to. However, after we had asked to be moved from rooms because the AC could not be controles that even with the blankets we couldn’t stay warm. We waited until the next day in order to give them time to fix it. We went on a tour all day and came back at 8 pm and it still wasn’t fixed. The. The new room #5 was much nicer and roomier, yet the water heater wasn’t working at all. The food was mediocre and our anfitrión was learning which we all understand everyone has to start somewhere, I don’t think she was given the proper guidance on how to manage and service properly. For us paying whole price we would’ve appreciated the same service as our money. The tours which are affiliated with this hotel were amazing. El concepto es muy interesante y tiene una gran causa. Sin embargo, el servicio en sí y el personal no están bien equipados para atender lo que están cobrando. Estoy de acuerdo con otras críticas en que es demasiado caro para lo que se está recibiendo. La habitación tenía algunos problemas técnicos y fueron atendidos. Sin embargo, después de que pidiéramos que nos mudaran de las habitaciones porque el aire acondicionado no podía ser controles, incluso con las mantas no podíamos mantenernos calientes. Esperamos hasta el día siguiente para darles tiempo de arreglarlo. Fuimos de gira todo el día y volvimos a las 8 p.m. y todavía no estaba arreglado. En la nueva habitación #5 era mucho más bonita y espaciosa, sin embargo, el calentador de agua no funcionaba en absoluto. La comida era mediocre y nuestro anfitrión estaba aprendiendo que todos entendemos que todo el mundo tiene que empezar en alguna parte, no creo que se le haya dado la orientación adecuada sobre cómo gestionar y dar el servicio adecuado.
