Excellent stay, recently redecorated to a very high standard, lovely room, very comfortable bed, and nice breakfast, landlady very pleasant and helpful. Great location close to all amenities. Would not hesitate to stay again - Thank you

Great stay. Denise was a great host. Room lovely and clean and breakfast excellent. Recently decorated and clean throughout. Quiet room with relevant facilities. Clacton is what it is and not many quality places to eat and drink but the Sandrock is a haven. Excellent location and would highly recommend.

Lovely stay, clean great shower Room was comfortable and had a great sleep Great breakfast plenty of choice Highly recommend Would definitely stay here again when meeting up with the family . I booked direct and got a great deal Good family run B&B

Hot shower with good water pressure, comfy bed, clean, quiet, good breakfast, good location, everything you'd want in a B&B, would recommend to others and will stay next time I'm in Clacton for a few days. TripAdvisor minimum character count of 200 is annoying

Great little B&B very close to the seafront and town. Denise couldn't do enough for us and helped us with our parking needs. Best of all? The Full English breakfast - Very good indeed. Very happy we stayed here over the Premier Inn or Travel Lodge.

Great overnight stay. Room was comfortable with plenty of storage for a longer stay. Bathroom was well equipped and modern, problem with hot water but this was due to an unforeseen incident and no fault of the proprietors. The room was very clean as was the communal areas. Breakfast was leisurely and very enjoyable and of good quality. Service was excellent and we were made to feel comfortable in requesting additional items eg. Coffee or toast. The staff are very friendly and take an interest in your day/evening which was lovely as well as being attentive to your needs or requests. Would definitely return if we return to the area.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Sandrock. The hotel is well looked after outside and inside. Our rooms looked newly decorated and were exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and we didn't have any trouble with noise in the evening. The family who run the hotel made us very welcome and were so accomodating. Included in our stay was a deilcious breakfast. We would definitely stay her again if we return to Clacton.

All the previous excellent reviews are fully justified. The comfort, decor, amenities and delicious breakfast were all of a high standard. The proprietors are friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Clacton. My friends who were staying at the nearby Premier Inn, although comfortable, were all envious of the extra,top level, personal touch provided by The Sandrock

I thoroughly recommend The Sandrock. The bedroom and en suite were ultra clean with a very comfortable bed. We very much appreciated the bottle of water included in the room. The breakfast was excellent and served with a smile! We were made to feel very welcome.
