Quaint
Quaint little place to stay. The bed was comfortable. There is a microwave, fridge & small coffee pot in the room. We had a small, private area off the back with an outdoor table & chairs. Wish there was a broom to brush off the twigs & leaves from nearby trees, otherwise it was nice.

Second time staying over the past few years . The location is perfect , the attached restaurant is legendary with outstanding food.
Quaint rooms with clean and comfortable amenities. Love the friendly and accommodating staff , ice and water machine is the icing on the cake. Short walk into town for shopping and dining options. Golf and pickle ball across the street . Great value for all the extras.

Unfortunately, we stayed at The Clipper Inn. This a motel than a hotel. There were cobwebs in the corner ceiling with a spider in it. The toilet leaked at the base and bugs in the bathroom. The floor was dirty so had to wear shoes all the time. Finally, the beds are worn out. I woke up with an aching back. They need to refresh the property immediately.

One Night Business Stay
Very nice motel in Clayton. Connected to one of the best restaurants in the area as well. Comfortable, clean and friendly staff.
