GREAT PLACE! Frank, and Midnight, were so welcoming. The property is beautiful and well kept. Just a few minutes from the main center of town. The rooms are decorated beautifully. The beds are comfy. The towels are thick and fluffy. The rooms are just about soundproof. Will DEFINITELY be back for another stay!

Highly recommend!! It started when owner gave us a tour of the room and then sat with us recommending all the great places to visit near Clayton (which we did go see waterfalls at the state park). Everyday he would check on us, to make sure we didnt have any problems. Bed was amazing (especially after whitewater rafting for 7hrs).

We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Aire Cottages immensely. Frank was so nice and helpful. We had two rooms and they were side by side. Our room had rocker recliners which was a very nice touch! We had a coffee maker, fridge, ice maker and a lot of very nice amenities. This place is located just a very short distance from the charming town of Clayton. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in Clayton.

This place is amazing! The sense of relaxation & peace are above and beyond. Management was super nice at check-in. Super clean! Quiet! I will stay again! Its walking distance to town. It is the center of so much to do. Highly recommend this be a place you stay in the future! Just marvelous!

We recently visited the area for a weekend of hiking some of the area trails and generally having a good time. We stayed two nights at Mountain Aire. It was a very pleasant stay. The owner/innkeeper was extremely communicative prior to the visit and during the visit. It’s a nice place with well maintained and equipped rooms. The WiFi worked well, the beds were comfortable, and overall I’d definitely recommend the place to others. It was an enjoyable step up from the corporate chains in terms of a more personal experience. And it’s located a very short distance from downtown and many of the area restaurants and shops. Thanks!

Our stay in July was great. Mr Frank was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back when we next get to the Clayton area. They even got our grandson a present, who was with us. We liked that it was close to downtown and all the amenities of town.

We appreciate Frank's hospitality and helpfulness, the cleanliness of the facility, everything is very well maintained We wish Frank every success with the expansion he has already started and are already looking forward to our stay.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. This hidden gem is convenient to all the downtown shopping and restaurants. Cottage was very clean, amenities were great, the views were spectacular, and the owner is extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to celebrate our 30th anniversary in the Clear View cottage.
