Clayton Georgia is a mountain town in far NE GA at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains, about 8 miles from NC & 8 miles from SC. Hollywood likes to come and create movies here, including Disney and Ron Howard, because of the county's unique beauty. We have three large lakes and a National Forest filled with waterfalls and trails... only 10 miles from the Appalachian trial. Its a hiker's paradise! A nine hole public course operated by Rabun County along with King wood Club and Sky Valley Club. The Rabun County Historical Society has a museum open the public on select days.
