第一次是六年前服務質量都非常好， 所以新冠之後來到愛爾蘭首選就是它， 可惜這一次的整個感覺和第一次差遠了，比較失望☹️……
首先房間裏面的無線網常常中斷或者是沒信號。打電話和前台聯繫給到我們的回覆，居然是説在鄉村裡信號不好。現在科技已經那麼發達了，這樣的理由實在太牽強了。
其次是房間裏沒有飲用水沒有了， 請服務員送水，結果服務員讓我們自己去拿，這是一個星級的酒店該有的服務嗎？
理解店家用手寫的菜單來表示他們的高大上，可是整個菜單的字體讓人非常難於閲讀， 密密麻麻的，看的人頭暈。不是那種讓人舒服，明瞭的字體和排版。
既然是城堡酒店，就應該能夠讓人周圍走一走。 六年前是可以的，現在很多地方都圍了門欄。根本無法去走看。

We have traveled all around the world and this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. It was friendly and the staff were excellent but with Ronan « one of the owners « treating you like one of the family it was a very pelassent experience. The food was top class and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We certainly will be back again.

What an incredible place— a gorgeous in. In a spectacular setting with the most gracious and friendly hosts imaginable. So grateful we got to stay there and can’t recommend highly enough! Comfortable beds, 100 percent clean, beautiful views, delicious breakfast and best of all, Julia, Paddy and Toby!

Booked this trip on Rorys travel group never heard of the hotel before so not sure what to expect. We got a lovely hotel in beautiful gardens . The staff were all fantastic all trained very well but two stood out John in the bar and Siobhan at the front desk who I call about 5 times and she called me back as I had a few issues before we got there . The food was very good and the bed just right we will be back

Abbeyglen castle is situated in a stunning location just outside Clifton. A very well run hotel, with one of the owners on site at all times. Large bedrooms and atmospheric public areas. Close to many sights and beautiful beaches. Every evening one of the owners gives a talk about the castle and surrounding area with complimentary Prosecco.

We return here whenever we can. This is really a five star place, with 5 star people. Julia, Paddy and Toby always make you feel like you are the only person in the room. Plus, many of the guests are interesting, well-travelled and just fun to gab with and learn from. Breakfast is in an orangery of sorts and Toby's cooking is fairly out of this world. Our room was so nice and one has access within walking distance of the entire town - which is a jewel. If they have room, we will be back this summer/fall! Angie & Gordon

Stayed at the Abbey Glen Castle Hotel on March 22nd 2025 with my sisters. The occasion was a Birthday. Had a wonderful experience from start to end. Room was spacious clean & beds very comfortable. The ambiguous was olde world tradition of a castle. Owner and his staff were friendly caring and food delicious. Good atmosphere in bar after dinner with lively sing song . Can't wait to return

I rated this a 5 even though there were a few things not perfect. It deserves a 5 because of the extra attention to making sure you are content that eliminates any negatives. There are lots of beautiful communal sitting areas. Every evening, the owner, Brian, hosts a prosecco gathering where he speaks about the history of both the property and the town of Clifden. Interesting enough that we attended both nights we were there. Brian walked around and took pictures of each group which was then given out at dinner, or the pub later, or breakfast the next morning. Food was delicious. Service was stunningly attentive. Brian sent our porter on a mission so he carried our bags to our room himself.
