Comfort Inn at Joint Base Andrews

This was very disappointing to stay here, the breakfast triangle eggs and undercooked sausage. The bathroom has mold above the door. The front desk representative had a sign up but was fixing food at the breakfast bar. Had to wait for her to come back to check me out while looking at me The hotel needs to be upgraded and updated Just for a one night stay was enough but the bed was full sized and too small for me and friend.

Drunk adults and unsupervised kids appear to be living there. Kids pulled the fire alarm at 1am. Management has no control over the property. Front desk attendant was very rude and seemed to be friends with the drunk adults. My air conditioner quit in the middle of the night and the elevator stopped working in the morning.

Not sure where to begin. My rights as a service dog owner and reasonable expectation of privacy were violated. For 2 weeks I was isolated to rooms for pet owners with pet stains in the carpets because I had my service dog with me ( with proper documentation). Which is against ADA rights. Housekeeping entered my room on at least 2 occasions while I was at work even though I had my do not disturb sign hanging on the door. I was a guest there about a month or so conducting business. The entire time I was there ALL of the laundry machines were out of order as well as a lot of the hotels furnishings, dingy linens, roaches, moldy odor in the air, breakfast items usually out of stock. I stayed because it was convenient with a short commute to my job. Last night when I returned to my room from work I was informed that the maid had packed my belongings from my room in a cart and I could no longer stay. I was pretty confused as I only come in the evenings after work find dinner shower and go to bed repeat next day. I was told “ Housekeeping entered my room for cleaning and found proof I smoked in my room so my room was packed up and I had to leave.” No courtesy call earlier in the day just a surprise in the middle of the evening after work you can’t stay. I definitely know my DND sign was hanging on my door when I left. And I didn’t smoke in my room. At the end of each day when I got in from work I would get my belongings together, empty the ashtray and gather all of trash out of my car take it in with me. Then at the end of the week before I leave I take all my trash out to the dump, make sure the room is clean and leave the housekeeper a tip. They callously and recklessly packed my personal property into trash bags. If I can post a picture I will. My laptop was thrown in a trash bag with canned food, a cup with liquid and put in a cart under my suitcase. I spent last night sleeping in my SUV 2 states away from home. Corporate did get me set this morning at another Choice Hotel, Quality Inn in Tyson’s corner and apologized for that properties misconduct.

Carpet is stained and Walls are filthy Sitting chair is stained and needs to be replaced. Definitely not up to Choice Hotel standards. I also saw trash on the floor from a previous guest. And there was no hair dryer in my room

If you like old run down hotels this is the place for you The water was not hot sales manager booked my room wrong and did not want to comp for her mistake now I have to talk to a manager on Monday causing more of a hassle for me when I’m not the one who made the mistake. The sales manager lied about the hotel not nice at all smells like smoke. We came to check in my daughter asked to used the restroom and no public restroom even though I’m a guest. This is all on the first night… Glad it’s only for the weekend but I will never stay here and wouldn’t recommend for anyone else.

The staff were very friendly and the location was near to the Base and Hospital, which was my wife and I reason for our trip at that time. We were expecting our first granddaughter. And that was the main reason for selecting that particular hotel.
