Exceeded my expectations. Room was spacious and well appointed. Good internet. Updated bathroom and very comfortable bed. The 1889 Dining Room was outstanding. I had a delicious green salad and perfectly cooked Elk backstrap tenderloin. Topped it off with ice cream and peach panna cotta. Highly recommended and I plan to return. Friendly staff also.

I Five Stars All the Way!
We can’t say enough great things about the Lodge! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could have hoped for. The staff was incredibly kind and was always willing to make our experience unforgettable. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet peaceful and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch place to stay!

Staff were very welcoming and informative on local activities and dining options. Hotel was beautiful the grounds were very well kept up.

Needs restoration
Problems started with mini- split system had the remote control functions locked. Room was freezing cold. Got the remote unlocked but then we had the opposite problem. Room got to 100 degrees at 2 am. Thermostat does not function which totally ruined our stay.

Nothing dissapoints at The lodge at Cloudcroft
This historic and storied hotel has added modern amenities we’ve come to expect—without losing the authentic vibe and charm of a 1911 resort tradition.

2 nights in Cloudcroft
Comfortable and unique historic property, the breakfast buffet was excellent. We visited White sands national park and Alamogordo.
Service was excellent and the room was very cozy.

It was a great experience. If you are older keep in mind there is no elevators so if you are on the 3rd floor you will have to carry everything up the stairs.
