Christian is a charismatic and attentive host, who cannot do enough for you - even providing freshly squeezed fruit juice on arrival along with his recommendations for all the best restaurants. The cabins or “bungalows” are beautifully built and immaculate throughout, with protective netting on all openings which meant for once on our trip we had zero bugs! The bed was wonderfully comfortable and you could tell that the bedding was of really high quality. Breakfast was varied and abundant, and served by a polite lady and a chef that cooked to order (spot on every time). The gardens are beautifully maintained, and there are plenty of creatures to watch and keep you entertained over breakfast. The grounds feel secure and safe, particularly as it is gated. We had a wonderful stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Relax natural village is a truly beautiful place to stay. From the moment we arrived from a long drive our mood was lifted with Christian’s excellent wit and personality. The rooms are truly amazing - Christian talked us through each detail which had just been renovated from the outdoor decking area to the beautiful four poster bed with premium sheets. Sleeping in the vegetation and hearing the animals all night and watching them fly and scurry amongst the garden makes this place very unique and special.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels from 5 start luxury to $2 hostels , I have never had such exceptional hospitality as I had and relax natural village, Christian luis & the team go above and beyond to make your stay memorable and they are absolutely fantastic host. the bungalow was beautiful and the gardens are like a tropical paradise. the team at breakfast were fantastic and it was a joy seeing them first thing every morning and the breakfast was beautiful (I recommend trying the ginger and lemon juice) I can honestly say this is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed perfect to relax in nature the animals are abundant the bungalows are beautiful designed . thank you to Christian and luis & the team at relax natural village for making our stay so special, we will be back next year. I would highly recommend anyone wanted to visit the area to stay here. thanks for everything Ben & Gemma

We started our round trip through Costa Rica here. The start of our vacation could not have been more beautiful. Christian is a true host and welcomed us warmly. The complex and the bungalows are probably the most well-kept that we were allowed to inhabit on our two-week trip. If you are looking for a little piece of paradise, you will find it here!

J’ai reservé un bungalow à la dernière minute et j’ai été enchantée par mon séjour! A l arrivée, l accueil est chaleureux, avec jus de fruit. Le bungalow était spacieux, propre et très beau. La décoration est sobre et raffinée, j’ai beaucoup aimé. Les jardins sont superbes, et tout est calme. On peut voir des petits animaux et on entend les oiseaux. A 5 mn à pied, il y a une superbe plage, avec peu de monde et un peu plus loin, on trouve un petit centre ville avec des restos et bars. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, et la dame qui s’occupe du petit déjeuner est très gentille. Bref, je recommande. Le lieu est superbe, dans la nature, c’est très calme, et le propriétaire est très gentil! Merci beaucoup.

Zum 4. MAL und nicht zum letzten Mal buchte ich bei den zuvorkommend wie freundlichen und aufmerksamen Gastgebern Luis & Christian, richtete mich in 'meinem' Bungalow, in dem ich mich mehr als Willkommen und zuhause fühle für zwei Wochen ein. Morgens fällt es nicht schwer sich beim leckeren Frühstück, bei dem man neben so viele starke Tassen vom herrlichen Costa Rica Kaffee wie gewünscht, ein gemischtes Glas Fruchtsaft von Lady (die perfekte, fleissige wie gründliche Hilfe in allen Haushaltsbelangen im extrem sauberen Natural Relax) serviert wird, sich für eine von 4 Varianten zu entscheiden, jede der 4 ist so reichlich, dass ich zu satt bin, um Lunch in einem der leckeren zahlreichen Restaurants an der Straße zu wollen, den muss ich ausfallen lassen, doch Dinner wird umso ausgiebiger. Das alles und viel mehr Tipps zur Region erfährt man am besten morgens vom gutgelaunten, sehr bewanderten Gastgeber Christian, der neben mehreren Sprachen auch die der geistreich und witzigen Unterhaltung sehr schätzt, um nur eine seiner Eigenschaften zu nennen die ihn als einen der besten in seiner Sparte auszeichnet. Ich bin 60 Jahre alt und habe einiges von der Welt bereist, dennoch fehlen mir zu viele Orte, die ich noch besuchen möchte, deshalb fehlt mir die Zeit 2-Mal an den gleichen zu kommen. Bei Natural Relax ist es zu schön, alles ist perfekt wie äußerst unterhaltsam, Langweile kommt keine auf, weil Christians Unterhaltungen niemand missen möchte, jeder an seinen Lipoen hängt, wenn er eines der seltenen, endemischen Tiere zeigt, erklärt, die sich in seinem Garten - wen wundert es - ebenso gerne herumtreiben wie ich, da die gesamte, sehr private, ruhige Anlage mit Liebe und Geschmack kreiert wurde, bleibe ich immer sprachlos, bewundernd beim Abschied mich dabei zu ertappen wie ich meinen nächsten Besuch im Land der Ticos, des Glücks, plane.
