We just returned from a wonderful stay at Caribe Town! The moment we arrived, Justine greeted us with the best welcome drink— a delicious cold coconut (see photo). The small bungalow hotel is nestled in beautiful, Playa Cocles and is a short walk from the beach. We especially loved our patio with a hammock overlooking the quaint pool and a monkey rope that crosses the property. We saw a squirrel monkey and a mom sloth with her baby crossing the rope during our stay. The property is surrounded by lush trees and wildlife —it felt like a little slice of paradise. The hotel is in walking distance of a great restaurant and bakery called El Rincon Porteno that opens early and has delicious Costa Rican coffee to start the day right. The location is ideal for exploring the Puerto Viejo area and is in walking distance to the Jaguar Rescue Center. We also appreciated the personal touch of owners Karalily and Joel, offering great restaurant recommendations (try El Sol del Caribe) and making sure our stay was unforgettable. If you're looking for a peaceful charming getaway in the Caribbean of Costa Rica, we highly recommend Caribe Town!

Such a wonderful stay at Caribe Town! I spent my 40th here and there is no where else I would have wanted to be!! The property is beautiful, the people are so warm and inviting, and the accommodations are just perfect bungalows in the jungle. We laid by the pool, did yoga, read on our patio hammock, played games, had drinks, and just enjoyed everything here. I loved how thoughtful and considerate everything was - there was an area with all sorts of info on local activities, recommended restaurants, a number for a tuk tuk, we had a load of laundry done before we left, and a massage during our stay. I never thought I would be lucky enough to have a massage on my patio in the jungle. The location is perfect too! Right across the street from the beach and an easy walk to restaurants and markets. 10/10 we would come back again!

Karilily and Joel are the best hosts that anyone could ask for. They run this beautiful resort jungle hotel with so much fun and love for their community. There are classes almost every evening from Muay Thai, boxing to Zumba. It has a relaxing pool and they offer an assortment of delicious, healthy drinks and spa treatments. If you're a couple looking for a relaxing place to stay and reconnect, or are a family looking for a safe and fun place for you to share some beautiful memories, definitely stay at Caribe Town! I was also a teacher at this beautiful place, and all of my students always loved taking class in a jungle paradise, with birds and animal life running around while we got our sweat on! They're also conveniently located in Cocles, which is equal distance into town and to the other end of this beach stretch to Manzanillo so you're in the perfect spot.

We enjoyed our time tremendously during our stay at Caribe town . It’s a short jungle walk to the beach and when we were not on the beach and back at hotel we were doing yoga , cooling off in the pool and enjoying the meals and fresh juices at Caribe town . Definitely 💯 recommend.

Caribe Town is magical! We absolutely loved the property and had the opportunity to catch a yoga class taught by the owner. As a yoga teacher myself- I can tell you that Karilily is a truly gifted and intuitive teacher. This session was was absolutely transformative for me. The platform is surrounded by a beautiful garden with birds and butterflies fluttering around- we felt like we were in a magical dreamland. We will be back!!

We stayed here in January and had a wonderful stay. The location is so good right near a beautiful beach and close to cafes and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and we loved our bungalow. Comfortable clean and we all slept well. The owners were very welcoming highly recommended

We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be back ❤️. The property was impeccable, the rooms were beautiful and the immunities were stunning. We swam in the crystal clear pool, walked to the beaches and restaurants near by and found it very safe. We highly recommend Caribe Town hotel. The friendless family owned business in town.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Right next to the beach and in the middle of the jungle, I had the best experience in this hotel. When I was staying here they offered a gastronomical vegan experience with an amazing chef, with live music and the best service.
