Resort in a nice location right by the bay with private beach area and the breakfast was really good. Also have ample space in the resort to explore on bikes and wild wallabies to observe at dusk too.
Service is generally good and depends on who you engage with too. We loved the space in the cabin and the fact that you can look out into the sea from the room itself.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Edge of the Bay – Absolutely Exceptional! We had the most incredible stay at Edge of the Bay – a place that somehow manages to be both peaceful and breathtaking from the moment you arrive. The views are picture-perfect, the rooms are modern and beautifully kept, and the whole property feels like a little pocket of Tasmanian paradise. A very special mention must go to Angie, who completely elevated our stay. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely went out of her way to make everything effortless. Her local knowledge, friendly personality, and thoughtful touches made us feel so well looked after. You can tell she truly cares about the guests and the experience they have. If you’re heading to the east coast, do yourself a favour and book Edge of the Bay. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely loved Edge of the Bay, only a 2 night stay and wished we had longer. Our ocean view studio was spacious and with all the comforts you need, including super comfy bed. Outlook from the room across the bay to the Hazards was beautiful. All staff were friendly and helpful and knowledgeable of the area and things to do and where to go. Delicious breakfast had each morning. Highly recommend EoB.

We could not have enjoyed our weekend at Edge of the Bay more. Every one from the booking staff, to the person who greeted us, the housekeeping staff, and especially the excellent restaurant staff, were just fantastic. The service was personable, helpful, and professional. Our rooms were on the waterfront, with such peaceful views, comfortable and clean. We were two couples celebrating an 80th birthday, and the celebration was so good, that without reservation Edge of the Bay will be our choice next time we stay on Freycinet.

Fabulous place in a wonderful location. Restaurant on site is definitely the place to eat! All of the staff we encountered were great. Room was spotless & very comfortable. Spectacular views of ‘the Hazards’ from our room.

You'll not find a better location in Freycinet NP than Edge of the Bay Resort! The bay, the beach, the rocks, looking across to the Hazard, sunset, sunrise -WOW!. Dinner was the best meal we've had since our time in Austraila. The rooms are delightful and the staff could not have been more welcoming, helpful and accomodating! As long as the price point meets your budget, and there's availability, there's no reason to do any more reseach!

A great resort for guest to reach the bay within steps enjoy sea front nature and welcomed by local animals (rabbits, wallaby, etc) and symphony from the birds in the early mornings..

One of Tasmania's hidden gems , tucked away in Coles Bay with great waterfront views by the beach, wildlife and a terrific host in Josephine who was very accommodating and makes an excellent coffee. We will endeavor to get back Thank you
