Our experience was generally positive. The room size and bed comfort were good. The bad experience was that there was a lot of noise from the adjacent rooms. And some other guests were very noisy late at night. I don't think the accommodation management was very concerned about this issue.

The bedsheets provided all look clean but the bed frames are covered in dusty so don’t believe they clean the frames at all just change the sheets and covers. Toilet and shower rooms are separate which is great when you have to share. The shared rooms don’t have hair dryers only the female ones do. Walls aren’t that soundproof so you can hear the elevator opening and closing but nothing ear plugs can’t fix.

Hygien, room, bed, quietness everything was great except that I got this problem with the receptionists. So I did explain to all the receptionist (that I saw-because I understand they work in shifts) that I lost 2 luggages due to the airline's mistake and airline will send them to this hostel where I would be staying (for 1 night only). I explained that if someone sent luggages here, please tell me asap because I needed to catch a train to Amsterdam the nextday noon. Imagine 35kg of personal belongs just dissapeared, I didnt have toothbrush, clean clothings.... I reminded them everything 3-4 hours when I saw a receptionist. After almost 27 hours of waiting in worry (which made me cannot enjoy the city), I talked to one receptionist to please check 1 more time becauze the airlines mailed me that they did send to the hostel at 4:30pm in the day I checked-in hostel, (only 4-5 hours after my flight time), she let me go it the luggage room and my luggages were there the whole time! So I waited in pain for 22 hours for nothing. I think it would be a bit obvious when 1 guy in delivery company uniform went in with 2 luggages and said "this is from one of your customer." But the receptionist just forgot it quickly and didnt tell me. I had to change a lot of my plan and I was feeling terible and stressful with the waiting and fear of lost luggages. Beside that, the condition of rooms, facilities, warm water, sound proof windows were great.

I had such a good time staying here and would definitely comeback if I have the chance to visit Germany again. Love all the people who were at the counter in the hotel during my stay. Keep it guysss!!!!

This my second time book with Trip.Com & we got 2nd hotel that so noisy. My kids don’t understand why is so noisy, i bet that the noises come from kids or students that i believe this there is a school front of the hotel. but i don’t understand why this people are do damn noisy. We try to close door but unfortunately the noise from outside our door, people banging on wall, slammed door, load laugh. the room are perfect for my family with bed for 4 people, but the noise, cleanliness are so poor. the shower room have mold on the glass door, the toilet stinks like public toilets. we got room on 3rd floor, then the Lift are always took so long to come up.. we ask for kettle to boil water, & unfortunately its not clean. there is so much lime on the bottom of the kettle. we need to put bedsheets n quilt cover on by outself too. They provided hand soap replacing the shower gel. Too bad that the location of the hotel are great but the rest is not wow.

Me and my family really enjoyed this place, we are planning to make another visit and stay in this particular hotel!!!!

Best hostel ever

Receptionist was very welcoming and everything was good except it got really noisy until 7 am as it was the weekend. Quite sure it's from the hostel guests. Not sure if this is a one off thing or normal occurrence. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed for 1 as I need the sleep and not willing to risk in case the same thing might happen again.

Good location however a little expensive for what you get. The staff were not overly friendly and customer service certainly didn’t seem a priority however that may just be a cultural thing.

The hostel is very well located. The service is good as always. I got free breakfast which was a very nice a big buffet. The only thing I would complain about, would be the noisy nights, which is normal as it is a hostel and is full of young people.

To be honest, I booked it and did not want to stay. In a booking list was written that I will stay in a room with 6 beds, at the end they give me 4 beds one where was only 1 guy as same age as me. When I contact the Trip.com and the hotel that I want to cancel my booking and will not stay there, no one take care and no one return money back. I pay for all time even not been there, so decide by yourself so you want to have any deal with Trip.com and a&o Köln Neumarkt, next time I would stay with ***********!
