Cityhotel Storch

Das einzige Gute an dem Hotel ist die Lage. Alles andere ist eine Zumutung. Die Dusche im Zimmer war verschimmelt und der Abfluss mit Haaren verstopft, sodass das Wasser nicht richtig abfließen konnte. Die Toilettenspülung funktionierte kaum bis garnicht und im Bett waren fremde Haare. Einfach ekelhaft! Des Weiteren war es die ganze Nacht über sehr laut, durch andere Hotelgäste die herumgeschrien haben… da nachts keine Hotelmitarbeiter anwesend sind, war es nicht möglich sich bei diesen über den Lärm der anderen Hotelgäste zu beschweren. Auf Beschwerde per E-Mail an das Hotel über die Zustände kam keine Rückmeldung. Auch nachdem der Kundenservice von Trip das Hotel kontaktiert hat, zeigte dieses keinerlei Verständnis und war nicht bereit einen Teil des Preises zurückzuerstatten. Daher kann ich das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

I’m not one to write a bad review, but after our horrible experience in this hotel, and being ignored on email and *********** when complaining, I want to share our experience. We booked a 3 night stay. We got to the hotel in the evening. There was no reception just a key safe. When we got to our room, I turned the key we got given and heard “hello?” Coming from inside. A man opened the door (in his boxers!) and said he said it was his room. We called the hotel number and the lady told us “no one should be in there.” We then had to knock on the door which made us so anxious as the man in the room was very VERY angry. She spoke to him over the phone in German and couldn’t work out how she had double booked the room. She must have known someone was in there as they had another key? It took ages for them to sort it out. It was now 11:30pm at this point, so she gave us a code to get another key. The new room was a tiny, cupboard sized twin room. Not the one we had paid a lot of money for! She said we can get a new room the next day. The new room looked great but we quickly discovered the shower didn’t work (just dripped slowly) the sink was clogged, only 1 plug worked, only the main light worked (no bulbs in the lamps). Not only this, the renovation work which was supposed to start at 9am, started at 7:30 AM EVERY DAY including Saturday!! They were using heavy machinery the other side of our HEADBOARD! (Photo attached of the mixing bowl on the second day) I kid you not. You have to laugh at this point. The walls are paper thin and we heard other guests ALL night talking, running, banging the walls etc. We barely slept the entire stay. We asked the man who worked there if we could get a refund for the first night as we didn’t get the room we paid for, to which he LAUGHED and said sorry as I paid via credit card. It doesn’t matter how we paid, I’m not sure how that was relevant. I have bad anxiety so we just said okay at that point. I have tried to contact the hotel to see if we can get any refund for our stay, and they have ignored us via Email and *********** chat and refused to pick up the phone. Never had a hotel stay like this, and for the price we paid it was not worth it at all (it wasn’t cheap!) Don’t waste your money here! Not the birthday trip I had planned :(

Quarto pequeno, 6 m2, só para 1 pessoa. Sem insonorizacao. Wc limpo, toalhas pequenas e muito velhas. Cama não tinha lençóis, apenas resguardo de colchão e almofada e edredão, não é higiénico. Tv funcionava mal, sem imagem a cor e quase não tem canais disponíveis, todos em alemão. Hotel sem elevador.

Hôtel bien placé, près du centre-ville et de la cathédrale. Egalement propre. En revanche en travaux actuellement, beaucoup de poussière. Trop cher pour la qualité des prestations, chambre simple minuscule, pas de chaise, pas de table, wifi faible ; petit-déjeuner rudimentaire et cher pour ce que c'est, pas de présence à l'accueil, pas de service, pas de chauffage, je déconseille. Pas du tout adapté pour un voyage d'affaire, plutôt style bed and breakfast sans aucun charme.
