Hotel-Restaurant Spiegel

The hotel was lovely, very well appointed and the gardens were spectacular. However, it was advertised as a hotel, restaurant but when we arrived, I asked what time service start in the restaurant to be told there was no service at the weekend. This was only Thursday but the restaurant was closed. We were 12.5 km outside of Cologne so our options were very limited. Luckily there were two restaurants about 10 mins walk from the hotel which were quite nice. The staff member who greeted us on our arrival, an older lady, was there every morning and every evening while we were there. She didn't seem to have any time off at all for the 3 nights we were there. While she was efficient at her job, she was not overly friendly or helpful. There were two other members of staff for the breakfast serving but again, these male waiters were efficient but not friendly towards us. They all engaged much more with the German guests but didn't seem interested in tourists. Tbh,we all felt as we were just a nuisance and they didn't really want us there. The hotel was expensive and the price didn't include breakfast. It is a lovely hotel but we definitely wouldn't stay there again. They have a lot to learn about hospitality. There were 5 in our group and we are very widely travelled but this is the first time any of us have experienced this kind of indifference and almost rude attitude. Sorry to say, we very very disappointed.

Non manco di fermarmi in questo hotel che oltre ad essere a meno di 2 km dallo aeroporto e anche un luogo di accoglienza e relax . Curassimo nei particolari di arredamento , con una colazione di elevata qualità , due gestori premurosi e gentilissimi . Prezzo che più basso non si può

Dıştan bu kadar güzel olup içinin bir o kadar çirkin olduğu bir otel görmedim bu güne kadar… Yatakları hücrelerde gördüğümüz yatak.Yerler inanılmaz kirli..yazın en sıcak gününde klima yok otel odalarında klima yokmuş!?!Ben bir gece hiç uyumadan idare ettim,iki gece kalacaktım ve ödemesini yaptığım halde ikinci gece kalmadım,kalamazdım…Umarım kalmadğım bir gecenin parasını bana iade ederler.En tuhaf konu 4 yıldız görünmesi yazıkkkk,çok yazık…

Für den frühen Flug vom Köln/Bonner Flughafen hatten wir uns das Hotel Spiegel ausgesucht. Meine - Vorschreiber - haben sich schon sehr gut geäußert, so dass ich mir die Wiederholungen sparen kann. Angefangen vom Kfz.-Stellplatz bis zum frischen Kölsch an der Hotelbar, einschl. der Empfehlung für den benachbarten Italiener - es gibt nichts zu beanstanden oder zu bekritteln. Unser Urlaub begann in Köln! :-)
