We chose this hotel to break what would otherwise have been a long drive to our next destination and to take a quick look at the Garden of the Gods (having been attracted to this from a Microsoft Windows start up scene), and it was ideal in both respects. We were given a disabled room, which we didn’t request or need, but was apparently all they had left, despite us having booked many months ago. The room was ok, and included a kitchenette, complete with fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker but no kettle, the one thing all serious tea drinkers need. There was also no room on one side of the bed for a bedside table, and consequently no convenient charging point. The fridge was also noisy during the night. Breakfast was typical of many of the hotels we stayed at, although not quite as good, with limited cooked options and no extras such as waffles or pancakes we found elsewhere. I also dislike eating off cardboard plates and using plastic cutlery, particularly when there is no attempt to separate the resulting trash for recycling purpose.
