We were given the disabled room on the ground floor which was large with an en-suite wet room. Clean, comfy bed, nice fluffy towels, plenty of hot water. 2 other couples with us had rooms on the higher floor which they said although clean were dated. Good location as only a short stroll to the sea front, bars and restaurants. Had breakfast the following morning which was fine and there was a decent choice. Owners really friendly

A warm welcome. White crispy cotton sheets, plump pillows, fluffy white towels and a comfortable bed. Delicious welsh breakfast. Hotel overlooks Rhos marina and is perfectly situated to explore. The bus stops in either direction directly outside the hotel. Arriva service is excellent and reliable. Walking in Rhos is a delight. Something to suit all ages and abilities. Fresh clean air, good food, variety of independent shops and pubs. Fantastic location to explore North Wales. Our hosts knowledge of the area and infrastructure was sublime.

very unpleasant place it smells, the kitchen is unclean and greasy ,the outside needs tidying up the room we were in was dusty and the bed had fleas in it,the smoke alarm was hanging off the ceiling the shower was filthy there was grout missing from the tiles needless to say we did not stay in this place.How this is a 4 star on booking .com is beyond me.I can only conclude that the people who wrote the reviews must be family and friends

The adapted room was the best we have stayed in! Very spacious and a really big wet room! We had our own car parking space! Perfect location with a very short walk to the beach and Sandy and David were amazing hosts! Really helpful and so friendly and the breakfast was delicious! Would highly recommend! We will definitely be returning

Brilliant two day stay here - friendly chatty hosts and wonderful breakfast - very near the beach at Rhos and close to the brilliant nature reserve just up the road - would definitely stay there again

Excellent welcome from David and Sandy, clean comfy room, on a quiet street and our pet Scottie dog was made welcome too, David even cooked a special sausage for us to take for our dog. We will return

We had the absolute pleasure of being guests at The Northwood. The main thing we are grateful for is the warmth & friendliness of both Sandy & Dave. We were warm & comfortable. The rooms fresh & clean with lovely linen.. The home cooked breakfast was a treat. We did not require anything else. However Dave went above & beyond when a piece of our luggage was left behind. The communication and help Dave offered saved us a great deal of heartache. We completely recommend this property. We are travelling from Australia. Thank you Sandy & Dave so much. We did enjoy our chat with Sandy as the Coronation started & as beautiful as that was they respected our space. Well done Northwood. ❤️

This budget friendly guest house was ideal for me. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. Excellent choice of food for breakfast. Lovely big room downstairs with a new shower room and the bed was really comfortable. The accommodation was clean and bright.

Disappointed by the welcome the room and breakfast what more can I say no hot water in bathroom,very out dated uncomfy bed then got up too basic breakfast with no toast offered, and no one to see us out .
