The hotel is like something from an ancient movie that has never been updated since built. The owner tried his best to appease with a croissant after a late night arrival however do not be fooled into believing there is an open restaurant in winter. Breakfast is equally non existent. If you'd like to sleep in a freezer with a heater that is completely useless for cool winter temperatures and are blown away by dark, dingy rooms with the opportunity to lose a few pounds due to lack of food then book it. Otherwise... why suffer? It's meant to be a holiday! Overpriced, freezing, a step back in time but in no way a pleasant experience. If you're visiting to purchase on site then this surely put paid to those plans!

Dirty , needs upgrading, no facilities, awful food , couldn't stay . ..................................................... manager rude , not interested in anything to improve this hotel , only wants to take your money .............. .........,. ....................

Avoid this hotel like the plague, it’s dreadful. I don’t say this lightly but it’s dark, dingy and has no facilities to speak of. There is no restaurant or any means of getting some food, even the cheap hotels have vending machines but this hotel isn’t cheap. I was always told if you can’t say anything good then say nothing so I really have to stop now.

Stayed at the hotel when visiting relatives in the area. Such a beautiful traditional Spanish hotel, no frills, but such a comfortable bed , room serviced on a daily basis. Lovely friendly staff, the owner and his wife are very nice. Bar staff friendly , ate at T&A’s restaurant on three occasions, we as a family found the food beautiful , a good selection and portion size , more than enough , their staff Marnie,Alan, Tim along with the others were very professional in manner, certainly caters for the “ex-pats” here, who all come from far and wide to eat . Lots to do, pool bar for snacks and sun bathing, watched a lawn bowls match this morning . Will definitely be back again, love the rural feeling and the gorgeous views

We didn't stay in the hotel but me and my partner ate in the restaurant, would not recommend, tables were immaculate but the wine glasses had lipstick all over them, and there was a blonde hair on my fish. The "homemade" cheesecake which they wouldn't stop going on about was dry as sticks, and tasted like a £1 one from Iceland. I have ate at better wetherspoons, will not be returning, hotel looked lovely though, they should think twice about having such a restaurant when it's attached to there name.

Saturday night in the new restaurant restaurant with Alan as super host and Tim as chef this place is a massive hit ,8 of us all had different starters and mains ,each meal was presented perfectly and everyone was happy with their choice , the house wine was great and plentiful , will definitely be back , great staff and great service

First day of the new restaurant opened in the hotel run by Tim & Alan. Extensive menu, freshly cooked meals and great service. Highly recommended. Tim and Alan are vastly experienced in the catering industry and it was a pleasure to meet them and all their staff.

We stayed for a long weekend. The hotel room was basic and had all amenities. No English channel on the tv which wasn't so good when it rained and we were room bound. Rooftop pool which looked great. Staff friendly and helpful.

We made this booking as a last minute get-away and were very pleasantly helped with excellent, friendly service. Even upon arrival, all went fast and smoothly. The room was quiet, no traffic noises and woken by lovely bird songs early morning. Although we had to leave very early morning for a planned field meeting on Global Bird counting weekend, we still were given a breakfast of fresh bread , butter and jam and good fresh coffee! The service is excellent the whole hotel is very clean and the free off-road and safe parking is great for cars, motorbikes etc.. we definitely will be back soon !! Red romped swallows are nesting inside and outside the hotel, which is lovely to see.
