Great location,very clean and tidy guest house,made to feel welcome by hosts Denise and Steve.Good breakfasts,varied menu served quickly even though the place was packed,gave good advice about the area.places to eat buses etc will definitely return.

Clean and comfortable B & B, excellent position near beach and to walk to pubs and restaurants in Combe Martin. Hosts were very hospitable, relaxed and helpful, especially for me to charge and store my electric bike. Denise served a great breakfast

This is a lovely guesthouse, so near the sea of Newbury Beach, Combe Martin. Comfy room with a sea view as I was on 2nd floor. Friendly hoteliers, Denise served perfect breakfast. The guest house was a peaceful haven. I would definitely return there and I enjoyed my stay very much.

Denise & Steve were brilliant hosts & very helpful nothing was to much trouble, the breakfast was good as was the accommodation would recommend staying there. The b&b is in a good position for exploit the surrounding area with bus links pubs & restaurants near by

Stayed at Acorns, 3 of us in 3 double rooms, for 4 nights to walk the coast path across north Devon. Acorns provided a good central base to get to and from the 4 legs of the walk. Steve and Denise are very welcoming, full of local information and excellent hosts. Their place is clean and obviously well run, comfortable and their breakfasts are a great start for a day walking. It wad a great choice - exactly what we needed.

We have a lovely stay at Acorns Guest House, we were only there for 3 night but it felt much longer as Denise and Steve made us feel very welcome and the atmosphere was relaxing and it has felt like we have been away for longer! We stayed in the family room with our 4 years old Daughter and it was perfect, clean, tidy and the beds were comfy! The shower was lovely, as some places you stay in the showers just drip! Breakfast was just right, and yummy! And my Daugherty enjoyed what she had. Denise and Steve could not have been more accommodating and we would definitely recommend staying here, ideally for the beach, literally a 2 minute walk, black and white fish and chop shop 5 min walk, and local pubs nearby. It’s a great spot for exploring Devon! Even though we were only there for 3 nights. Thank you Denise and Steve, John, Jane & Isla

Very welcoming owner she was lovely easy check felt at ease. Lovely last minute stay myself my partner and 10 year old daughter. Comfortable and clean family room full size single bunk beds en suite shower. Room was great for our stay Smart TV tea coffee making facilities. Easy parking. Breakfast offering fab cooked to order and super coffee at breakfast too. Really great location for beach and village shops. Great location for exploring near by Ilfracombe and Woolacombe also. We really enjoyed Combe Martin and would return to Acorns Guest House when back in the area.

Our hosts were so friendly and made you feel so welcome, nothing was to much trouble for them. We will definitely go back. We only stayed for 3 nights but it seemed that we had known them for a long time

Absolutely cracking hotel, we stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Steve and Denise are so welcoming and very professional in what they do. Hotel room immaculate, will be booking again
