Villa Liberty

Very nice family owned hotel. The owner is onsite everyday. She does a great job making sure everything is right. We stayed in a regular room for 2 nights and then a suite for 4 nights. Very clean and very updated. It is out of the downtown area by about 1.5 miles. This is an easy walk or a 5 or 10 Euro taxi ride. The hotel is about 1/2 mile from the actual lake and a nice restaurant that sits next to the lake. (restaurant name is Olmo)The city bus also has a stop within about 150M of the hotel. They serve a nice breakfast with lots of fruit, cereal, yogurt, cheese, meats, nice cakes, sweet rolls, etc. We would stay here again

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in the family suite. We only stayed one night so didn’t get to enjoy all the facilities. There is a lovely rooftop seating area with fabulous views of Lake Como. We parked our car in the hotel grounds for a small fee. The reception staff were friendly and very kindly made restaurant reservations. We visited the funicular and dined in a restaurant at the top in Brunate with fantastic views. We also went for drinks to Villa D’Este which was magical.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Clean, comfortable, amazing breakfast, and kind staff. I highly recommend. It’s about a 7 minute drive to the main area of Como but we prefer to stay away (but still very close) to the hustle and bustle. Room was spotless and all staff was extremely kind and helpful with whatever we needed or questions we had. I highly recommend. I’m not one to usually write reviews, but Villa Liberty absolutely deserves it!!

The Villa Liberty is outstanding and in a great location. The staff and owner are super friendly and extremely helpful for advice. The breakfast is better than some 5-star hotels I have stayed in The walk down to Como and the lake is 10 minutes and the Villa itself is very secure. You must try the Spa - it’s wonderful. We will definitely come back !

The staff and management put this property on top. Guilia and Alessi at front desk were so helpful. Sleek, cool and hip remodel is fantastic. The gardens and property are well cared for. On a bus line from center of town. Great views from hillside location. Loved it. Breakfast had plent of options and freshly cooked eggs. John from Chicago.

We spent a wonderful 8 days for our anniversary at Villa Liberty. The villa is immaculately clean and quiet with very comfortable beds. The views are amazing and you can hear the church bells. Elisabetta and her staff could not have been more attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a great massage at the in house spa with a bottle of prosecco. It was magical. The breakfast was delicious and had something for everyone. Everything was fresh and beautiful from the espresso to the eggs, meats, cheeses, bread, pastries, yogurts, fruits etc.. We would love to stay there again !
