The reviewers have said it all about this lovely hotel, so I'd like to tell you what I liked & didn't like along with a few suggestions. What I liked about 73 Boutique: * Great A/C, cold mini refrigerator with free water in it & our room had two windows with black-out drapes. * Breakfast was wonderful, in fact the sweet lady over breakfast knew how much we liked the chocolate crescents, which they ran out of one morning. The next morning she had some hot ones she had right out of the oven set aside just for us when we came down to eat. Lots of choices from real eggs to waffles/pancakes, etc. * A BIG thank you to Nicolette the day desk manager! She was AMAZING in more ways than I can count. It was a pleasure to come down each morning & be greeted by her by name. She gave many excellent suggestions that were so glad we followed. (See the suggestions I listed below.) * Very clean & up to date room & bath. * GREAT location, shops & restaurants close by & an easy walk to the water & ferries downhill. What I did not like: * Very small shower. * The room is small, but still worth staying here. * The hotel is set in a short alley back off the street with "vertical" signage on the "73" that you're probably not expecting & very hard to see from the street. Some posted a pic of what to look for, so print it out & take with you. It'll save you from a BIG headache when you get there. Suggestions: * Do NOT drive into the walled city even if you have given them your car tag numbers or else be prepared to meet their angery police who chances are does not speak your language & will take your passport, international & local driver's license, & car rental papers. Started our arrival on a really BAD hour. * Park in the garage right across the train tracks by Independence Gate & walk ~ 8 minutes from there to the hotel. (For the 3 nights & 3 days of parking cost us 84 euros. * Once you enter Independence Gate walk right about 200 feet & turn left down the street & walk straight taking your 2nd right & the hotel will be the 1st setback on the right. There are address numbers on the building where the set back is. GPS has off/on difficulty in the walled city. * Easy walk to the water. Go before 10:00am to buy the fast ferry ticket/s to Bellagio for a short line. FYI, they offer senior discounts & the fast ferry ride to Bellagio is 45 min. When you get off the ferry at Bellagio buy your return ticket because they might sell out for the time you want to return & later in the day the ticket line is long. The ferry went past George & Amal Clooney's home. Going to Bellagio their home is on the left. (There was a tour guide with a small group that we were able to benefit from her information & that's how we knew which home was theirs.) * Nicolette at 73 Boutique had great recommendations for local restaurants & best day/s to visit Bellagio due to weather & crowds. * The Volt museum was a disappointment due to their lack of information on what you're looking at. * I'm so g
