Baymont by Wyndham Conroe

By far, this place is a Awesome place to stay. The staff and our needs were met. We had no issues with noise or disruptions from anyone. Definetly consider this a place to stay to others.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn on Interstate 45S in Conroe, Texas for 3 days in October 2024. Our stay was very pleasant & would highly recommend this hotel. Kelsey & Jay were very nice, professional & helpful. The pool was wonderful and the breakfast was good.

I posted this review for the wrong Comfort Inn so am posting it here for the correct one. May 2024 Stayed here for 10 days while responding to floods. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Sherry at the desk was outstanding, friendly, and went out of her way to help. If a problem was reported she immediately tried to remedy it. The only issue we had was that our key had to be changed every day because the lock needed new batteries. The conditioner dispenser holder was broken but we didn't report that. Housekeeping was not as efficient as it could have been, not leaving regular coffee when only decaf was there. Location also close to many restaurants and I Hop next door Overall this is a very clean, easily accessible from the highway and friendly hotel. I will stay there again if in the area.

Somehow I figured I could handle a stay here even with all the negative reviews, “I Thought Wrong”! You deserve what you get if you book this hotel disregarding the reviews. This hotel is not as advertised. It’s a crime how they dressed the outside up, the interior was lipsticked! You will notice after awhile the flaws, and shortcut construction, cleanliness.

Sheets were dirty and stained, carpet was heavily stained, fan in bathroom was not working and was a dusty hole in the wall, towels were paper thin and dingy, breakfast was a joke and manager was very unprofessional.

You get what you pay for. I paid too much and it was gross. It smelled. They were doing renovations and no one told me when I booked. The carpets were dirty. I left my bags outside when I got home for 2 days to make sure I didn't bring bed bugs home.

STAY AWAY! Spent 3 nights due to nearby project. Most of the building is in poor condition; carpets smell horrendous. (Much needed) Remodeling taking place, so very loud throughout the day until as late as 8pm. (likely through February 2024). Water gets shut off without notice. Torch used by construction crew INSIDE the wall (for plumbing repair) with no wall protection...high fire probability... Owner and manager have no regard for life.. didn't want to hear or see pictures/ video of what I witnessed... Breakfast choices... bread, twinkies, fake scrambled eggs (maybe), waffles, packet oatmeal and maybe apples. No printer for guest use. Cold or no coffee in afternoons/ evenings. Definitely not what is expected of a Wyndham hotel.
