Hotel Marina Copan

I loved this hotel and the staff. The room was big with a great shower and bathroom. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the horrible and old pillows which made my sleep a challenge. The grounds are beautiful and the food was very good.

Near ruins (about 10 min drive) but had to walk 4 blocks into the old colonial town (hotel staff took our luggage from outside town). We bought ramputants on the way (2USD for a big bag of about 40-50!) Nicely decorated with a bar in front of the restaurant. Dinner was delicious. Had a peso pasta (after all kinds of local delicacies recently), while my husband had chicken cooked with a local flower(?) Nice pool for relaxing after day trip to ruins Spacious room with a balcony overlooking whole town (we were at the corner unit on the third floor). Our friends went out after dinner and said that was a nice, interesting and safe walk around (we didn’t go out ourselves).

The pool, the bar, the rooms, the views, the architecture, the gardens, this is the best place to stay in this town. I explored and then was immensely happy to return here for the late afternoon onward. Gracias!

We had 3 nights here and it was not enough. Beautiful room and environment. The hotel has lots of nooks and crannies to sit and relax. The staff are excellent. It’s in a great location to explore restaurants in the area. The pool, bar and restaurant are all top draw. Stunning views from the upper floor in the restaurant. The hotel did a good exchange rate for dollars to Limpira.

Utterly charming hotel. Great layout based around quiet internal courtyards. Good interior design. Room spacious and bed comfortable. Good spacious shower. Restaurant superb with great staff. I'd use again if ever nearby.

Très bon hôtel. Bon accueil. Les chambres sont belles et grandes. Pas de bruits à part ceux des clients sans éducations mais là l’hôtel n'y peut rien. Petits déjeuners copieux et buffet bien organisé. Bref, vous pouvez y aller sans hésitation.
