Thalassa Boutique Hotel & Spa

Located in Coral Bay beautiful scenery / sunsets. Choice of 2 beaches. I was in room 614 and the view was stunning - even saw a wedding going on in the Sister hotel from my balcony. Sun is on the balcony from about 3 ish. Very quiet and relaxing. Pool towels are given out on arrival daily to the pool or you can just help yourself if staff not there. Rooms are very clean, everything is free of charge of charge Tea, Coffee and milk etc , bottle of water daily - only thing you pay for is anything in the fridge. Waiters come around the pool area which is great, but I would recommend getting a receipt every time you pay for drinks etc as I used to run a tab during the day for a few bits then pay at the end of the day , so on the day of leaving I should have had a nil balance, I was told I owed 7 euros, then the bar said 15 euros, it was extremely embarrassing however I knew 100% that my tab was cleared daily. All staff were extremely helpful but the Receptionists are outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble - a few times my milk was not left in the room and they kept sorting it out for me! It was my 60th whilst I was away and one of the receptionists had requested a cake - the next day she asked if id enjoyed it, but it didn't arrive - however it was a nice thought! It was an amazing hotel, breakfast was superb - my first trip alone and I would recommend it for Solos/Couples/Groups. Adult only. Outside steps to beach are not for fainthearted, steep with a rope hand rail. Although you can use the restaurants at the sister hotel Coral Beach Hotel if you were All Inclusive , you couldn't use the pools which was a real shame as the sun is off the pool around 3/4 oclock, whilst the sun is on the other hotel pool all day. Overall an amazing holiday - thank you very much xx

Overall I'd say this hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side, the staff are genuinely lovely—friendly, helpful, and clearly trying their best. Breakfast was consistently good, with a decent variety and fresh options every morning. The hotel itself has apparently been recently renovated, but you wouldn’t guess it from the decor. It still feels quite dated—like they just polished up the old look rather than bringing it into the modern day. There’s a slightly tired feel throughout, which is a shame because the bones of the place are nice. The biggest downside, though, is the pool area. It should be a peaceful haven, and it starts that way in the morning. But almost every day, a big party boat shows up, moors right by the pool, and turns the whole area into a sort of floating nightclub. Loud music, drunk shouting, and general chaos that completely kills any relaxing vibe. Unlimited drinks on the boat probably don’t help. Once you hear "Sweet Caroline" belting out of the PA its time to go in. If you’re looking for a calm and restful holiday by the pool, this might not be the right spot—at least not until someone deals with the party boat situation, its not the hotels fault but it'd put me off coming back.

Had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The manager was professional, friendly, and ensured everything ran smoothly. The Nepali staff were warm, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

An unique experience: the manager and the staff are amazing. You feel so welcome. It is beautiful and quiet and from everywhere, you have spectacular views. The rooms are spacious and confortable. But the biggest plus of this hotel is absolutely the five star kitchen. We advice to take half board. You will not regret it. We felt like kings and queens in this heavenly place! Thank you!

Wow what can I say this hotel is absolutely beautiful from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left it was amazing the location is perfect for us right on the beach and a short stroll the a few bars and restaurants not that you need to leave the hotel though because everything is there on tap for you the food was outstanding and I have come home a few lbs heavier. The room was spotlessly clean Modern and comfortable with the most amazing panaromic view . The beach area was lovely with fresh towels daily the pool area was so tranquil and surrounded areas so pretty and clean staff are very accommodating and attentive we met the General manager on a few occasions around the terrace she went out of her way to talk to us and ask how things were such a lovely lady a credit to the hotel I found the only downside was that I had to leave to come home 4 days wasn’t enough but we have rebooked already to visit twice again this year. All in all this hotel and staff has stolen my ❤️

I think this hotel is the site of the restaurant I recall but can’t be sure Help anyone here is the background Husband and I are coming to Cyprus from Australia next month I was born in Cyprus and left after the war as a child But I was married in CY in 1992 and we travelled all over the island including Paphos This is a long shot I’m appealing to any locals There was a κέντρο α family style restaurant high on a cliff overlooking Coral Bay It served the coldest beer and best food and had amazing view below I realise it was so long ago But we want to stay at Coral Bay and try and find it and wonder if Thalassa has been built on that site Does anyone know what I’m talking about Thanks all
