Hotel Viento10

We did not have a bad experience, it was simply a disappointment. I booked based upon TripAdvisor reviews and I was unfamiliar with Cordoba. Pros: Quiet. Squeaky clean. Comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. The big CON was that our room was on the ground level. It was cave-like; minimal natural light and not conducive to relaxing in. The secondary CON is the location is a long walk to the Old Historic part of the city; doable, but too long to make multiple trips back and forth. And we like to walk. My fault on that point for not being more knowledgeable about the city and distances. If you stay in a room above the ground level, I presume you will be more satisfied. I would not return to the ground level room. We did not have the breakfast.

I usually only leave 4 and 5 star reviews. However I was left extremely disappointed with this hotel. The room was nothing like the pictures - it was shabby, badly decorated, and had a strong smell of mould. I immediately said I did not want to take the room as it was nothing like the pictures. They agreed. I checked into the NH hotel which is excellent. However Viento10 went on to charge my debit card. I have never done this before but the hotel standards were simply unacceptable.

I recently reviewed a self-described boutique hotel in Seville, Spain, the Catedral Boutique. This establishment, as I described it, was a complete antithesis to the boutique concept and an unmitigated disaster. In the contrary, Viento 10 in Cordoba Spain is , in my view, the epitome of a boutique hotel. It is a medium-sized place located about a 10 minute-walk from the historical center of Cordoba. Quite interestingly, the design and architecture is a tasteful blend of old (remains of a 14th century hospital) and modern, exquisitely executed design, such as graceful arches resting on old but well-preserved columns, glass doors and partition opening up onto an internal patio, in the Spanish fashion. Needless to say, the rooms are large and equipped with absolutely up to-date and high quality equipment, such as bedding, ta large amount of towels , A/C, shower and all required amenities. The owner greeted us personally upon our arrival and shared with us how he and his family refurbished the old building and transformed it into this wonderful place. The nightly rate is high for the area, but I believe quite justified by the hotel location (very easy, convenient and quick access from major highways), the level of personal attention and the overall comfort provided to the customer. I would recommend Viento 10 to any Cordoba visitor without any reservations.

Incredibly nice hotel in the center of Córdoba. Family-run, few rooms, very harmonious setup. Each room looks differently, with a worthy, well designed interior. The welcome was very warm and felt more like visiting old friends than checking in at a hotel. The parking is easy to reach and the parking spaces are not restricting the size of car (something we have seen differently in Andalusia). Short walk from the car park to the hotel. Do not attempt to drive directly to the hotel! Very quiet side pedestrian street. When we arrived we learned that there are no TVs anymore in the rooms and no spa (two things we haven't used in all other hotels anyhow). The breakfast was freshly prepared to order and was a wondeful start into the day. You can finish the day off with a drink from the self service bar and walk up to the roof terrace, watching the stars above. Perfect! We stayed only two nights but will certainly come back, if we need a hotel in Córdoba again.

Lovely peaceful little hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were a good size and the breakfasts were delicious, fresh and homemade. The hotel is about a 10/15 minute walk into the main part of town and the walk is flat and easy. This hotel was perfectly located for the Patios Festival which takes place each May.

Stayed for a couple of days in May 2024. Was looking for a bit of a contrast between the other hotels on our trip, so looking for a very small hotel. Only 10 or so rooms, but very stylishly designed around a small courtyard; some downstairs, some upstairs. Very comfortable stay with a good breakfast
