Therese was a wonderful host. Rooms clean with good views of the bay and countryside. Very good breakfast. Therese originally from Allihies which we visited. Allihies festival was on. Wheelbarrow races, tug-of-war and Irish music was on the night we visited the festival.

Eyeries and Allihies are two villages that shouldn't be missed when visiting Ireland. A great place to visit enroute from Dublin to Dingle. The Coulagh Bay House is highly recommended. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The breakfast was great! It was a nice 10 minute stroll down the hill to a local restaurant (Beara Necessities) for dinner both nights we were there.

Set above Eyeries, with a stunning view out to sea and the mountains, Coulagh bay was a great choice on our west of Ireland road trip. Therese was a welcoming host, provided a lovely breakfast and the room was light and spacious. It is an easy 5 minute walk down to the village, where there is a good cafe for dinner and a traditional local pub. An excellent choice on the stunning Beara peninsula.

Therese is a wonderful hostess, welcoming, kind and informative. Our good size room looked over the bay and the mountains and the bed was comfortable. There was also an excellent shower. The Beara Peninsula is spectacular and the mountains and scenery are outstanding. The Coulagh Bay B&B is well placed for exploring either by car or on foot. Thank you Therese for a wonderful stay.

The B&B is ideally located for exploring the Beara. It is close to Eyries village and has a lovely view. Beds were comfy and breakfast great with plenty of choice. Therese is a super friendly host. Comes highly recommended

Lovely host in Therese. Very friendly and chatty, and cooked beautiful breakfast. Homemade bread and the best of ingredients for the full Irish. Great view to the coast in dining room. Highly recommend this welcoming BB on the Beara peninsula. Thank you Therese.

Great place but the only comment would be that the bathroom didn’t have a window and it smelled a little. If you are a Walker you can buy a dinner otherwise you do need to drive to find dinner. There is a general store in the village that sells sandwiches, coffee, ice cream, wine and beer.

We stayed here for one night during our walk on the Beara Way. Therese was very friendly and helpful. Given our long day of walking we were able to have an earlier breakfast. The rooms were large and very comfortable and clean. It is close to the only restaurant in Eyeries as well as the local shop. All in all a wonderful stay.

We had the most wonderful time at Therese and John’s lovely B&B. Check in was easy. The rooms were large and each had a private bathroom and shower. The beds were comfortable and the coffee and tea service in the room was unexpected. We had the Irish breakfast, salmon and bagel made to order and several continental items that were also provided. Therese recommended that we stroll through town and I’m so glad we did. The quaint town of Eyeries is colorful, neat and has a wonderful sensory garden. We finished our evening with a pint at a local pub. The following day, she also recommended a drive down the Beara Peninsula. We had a marvelous time. Thank you both for your welcoming hospitality.
