Loved Birdies! What a pleasant surprise. Everything new and clean. Comfortable bed, great bathroom and shower. Common kitchen is fully stocked and includes a little sitting area with TV. Wonderful outdoor space / rooftop patio with plenty of furniture in shade or sun. Can't recommend enough. Wish we had more time to stay.

We are very happy to have found this gem in Mitchelstown and will use again for future family visits. Lovely modern spacious accommodation including a great outdoor roof terrace. Conveniently located on Main Street in town. Mark gave us a very warm welcome and was on hand to look after us during our stay. We will be back again soon.

We were very nicely surprised by Birdies town house as the place was impeccable with a lovely roof terrace we have stayed in hotels in the area before and we would put Birdies town house way ahead of them. It’s right in the centre of Mitchelstown with parking right outside. Mark was very helpful and we will certainly be staying there again

Excellent stay with outstanding customer service. Clean rooms with good shower and comfortable bed. Lovely outdoor terrace. They direct you to excellent local eateries e.g. if you want full Irish breakfast go to O’Callahans. We did have their continental breakfast one morning and it was excellent. The only problem we had was finding the place as it has a single unmarked grey door between two shops! We did obviously raise this with our host Mark and he said there getting a sign.

We had a 1 night stay at Birdies Townhouse but we wish it was longer. The room and whole building is decorated beautifully. Huge spacious bedroom with great amenities and lovely little touch with some chocolates. The bathroom is a great size too and the shower is fantastic. The staff are also amazing, very informative about the area and for recommendations. There is also a lovely terrace area that would be great to use in the nice weather and a communal kitchen area that we didn't use. We would definitely stay in Birdies again.

Absolutely a fantastic, friendly and homely place to stay. Mark is a fantastic host, went above & beyond to make our stay so perfect! Even a beautiful breakfast with fresh croissants. I definitely would highly recommend Birdies Townhouse
