Riu Palace Aquarelle - All Inclusive

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort! The staff was incredibly friendly, even though there were a few rude ones; the facilities were impeccable. Lots of great food options, and I could truly say the food was great! The selection of drinks was also huge. My favorite part was the beach for sure, very clean, white sand, and clear water! Last but not least, the Entertainment was pretty good, especially Michael Jackson's performance!

Great staff, warm and friendly and fun. The service here was outstanding as were the standards from housekeeping. This is a Riu Palace and you get the premium drinks such as Appleton estate at the bar, the staff at the sports bar were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, day or night. Great place for friends, family and couples. I didn't use it but family enjoyed the water park here. Bathroom overall spacious but despite being open for just a couple of years, the condition inside the shower could be better. The sizing of the beds was also underwhelming they are small doubles so if you are above 5'11 I suggest you curl up and get cosy. The animation team were friendly but lacking in engagement. There was a lack of presence for any activity that wasn't Riufun (e.g. Riufit) Stretching, water volleyball, etc were often cancelled with no prior warning and no one to redirect you, this happened with multiple members of our family during a seven day period. You can order room service whenever you want with a select menu which, was fantastic if you have had a late night. The food here was amazing with a wide selection of food. fresh fruit with Caribbean dishes available from breakfast right through to dinner. The restaurants were lovely beautifully decorated with lovely food. If you are vegetarian or vegan you may struggle, there is one vegetarian menu that is the same in all the A la carte restaurants. Kyoto was the exception where our waiter arranged for the chef to rustle something up. Their humus starter also had a little something different in comparison to the others. Service in some of these restaurants were what you would expect but at times even at a table for three we waited an hour for our main meal. I mention this because some had limited starters, occasionally guests walked out and I personally opted to skip desert to make it to the shows starting around 9pm. I can only commend those who worked here for a lovely stay. A special thank you to those working in Napoli for helping make my daughter's birthday special. We are considering revisiting this Riu next year.

Food was superb. Entertainment was much better than expected. Hotel was very clean. Staff were brilliant. Daily entertainment team were also great. We flew into kingston with BA, its a bit of a drive over 2 hours. The only bit of constructive advice i can offer is 'check in' can be a bit of a wait, so maybe that could be improved...( but we were a bit grumpy after a long journey :)

Great rooms, food is amazing. A little in the pricey side but overall a great resort. Entertainment was phenomenal especially the Micheal Jackson show which is must see.
