Playa Park Zensation

Firstly I would like to respond to the review written by Alice below.... I was behind Alice at the reception when she made her complaint about her 'stolen towel' the receptionist was not snappy or rude, she rightly pointed out that her deposit had been lost because she had lost the towel, bigger fool her for leaving it unattended on a lounger she wasn't using, expecting to get the charge waived because she was pregnant. Very unfair to leave a 2* review because she didn't get her deposit back. Rooms are lovely, clean and everything you could need, toiletries in the bathroom, tea and coffee making, stocked mini fridge with coke, beer, water, air con and heating, UK TV channels, Robe and slippers. Use of the Spa facilities and roof top pool. I really wish there was one of the pools heated, they were all freezing. Restaurant was great, all you could wish for and more, juices from the vending at breakfast were a bit watery but that would be my only criticism. Lovely cocktails and drinks from the bar, vending soft drinks and hot drinks. Sort walk to a small shopping centre, 10 minutes to the main town with shops etc and beach, nice flat walk. Will definately be back

Hotel staff all very friendly, superb location, the room was spotless clean, the whole hotel and grounds were exceptionally clean. The food choices were vast and very nice, no problems with food or cleanliness, the infinity pool was freezing but good fun on the roof top pool area, bar service very good, entertainment in the evenings was by far one of the best we have seen on holiday anywhere! Great fun and good quality entertainment too. The poolside area was immaculately kept, no rubbish anywhere, loungers spotless clean and the poolside area too. 10/10 for cleanliness everywhere and food choices. The spa was lovely, really relaxing and my massage was so good, relaxed and the staff in the spa again were really friendly and accommodating. Really great hotel and we aim to go back!

Where to start …I’m actually still sat on my sunbed at Playa park so I thought what better time to write my review, I arrived with my family of 7 four nights ago , grandparents, kids & parents so I mix bunch of us ,,, THE STAFF wow they are all just wonderful, working so hard to make your holiday perfect from pool side games entertainment staff to the bar staff , catering staff , waiting staff , house keeping , reception, groundsman they are honestly just so amazing & work so hard keeping this hotel a great place to stay. FOOD 10 out of 10 ,, we have stayed at many all inclusive resorts all over Europe the last been IKOS Olivia in 2022 but the food at Playa Park was far superior & blew us away, Fresh meat , fish, prawns , salads , vegetables,,, everyday there’s was something new & so delicious. A special mention for the pizza chef possibly the best pizza we have ever had (not just at an all inclusive). DRINKS) for an inclusive resort the drinks were spot on the local beer served in an ice cold glass everyday hit the spot. ACCOMADATION absolutely Lovley , all apartments face the pool with their own patio furniture so you can if you choose take yourself off & relax in your own space. The rooms are so comfortable, clean & specious with plenty of wardrobe space & a really lovely fresh minimal seaside vibe. All in all an amazing stay & we will definitely return , a HUGE thank you to all the staff behind the scenes & front of house you are exceptional x

We booked this hotel as walked past it last year and it looked lovely. On arrival we weren’t disappointed. Lovely spacious pool area, plenty of sunbeds and immaculately clean. Rooms were spotless too again lots of space and comfortable. Food always great choice available we never got bored always lots of variety. The entertainment staff gino and milen absolutely made our holiday. So funny and likeable they go the extra mile that’s for sure. Worked none stop and always had time for everyone. We will definitely return so relaxed and perfect location for us as we like the area and if we want to go to the main strip it’s only a short walk. All the staff at reception and in the restaurant area are so polite and work very hard. We thank you for a lovely holiday

Booked a quick week of winter sun and off the reviews chose this hotel. Upgraded to Zensation building which gives access to infinity pool and area plus bar all week, worth it. Food and drink excellent wentcall inclusive however the small shop area very close has many decent eateries and shops with good deals plus a well stocked supermarket. Checkin was a breeze Mathilde answered all my questions of which there were many and the hotel should be proud of her. Another employee who seemed to be everywhere with a smile was Daniel Albert definitely worth a positive mention both employees a credit to the hotel. We’re still here having a great time. The gym is small however right across the street is a most excellent park with a great area to run and weight machines. If you skateboard that’s there too. We’re an older couple who’ve had a great time and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Lots to do or nothing to do it’s your choice.

Second stay at playa park and had as good a stay as before. A bit confused with the banding - paid for ultra all inclusive for rooftop and zensation restaurant but seemed to be a lot of people on bronze package using this too which confused me with the supplement I’d paid z Rooms kept clean and modern we paid for zensation block again and had a nice room with large balcony. Mini bar had 2 beer, 2 juice and 2 water with water replenished each day. Safe free to use too. Towels changed every day and had bathrobes and slippers included. Did have an unexpected cockroach one night but Sebastian on reception sorted this and within 5 minutes there was 2 staff who sprayed the room and no other issues rest of week. He also checked us in explaining everything and assisted us when booking other restaurant for dinner. Food different each night and hot - only thing that could be improved is the buffet restaurant as staff pretty slow at cleaning tables and often had to sit at dirty table and get someone’s attention to clean it. Could be easily solved by the host making sure someone sits people at tables instead of just monitoring them taping cards on entry. Ate at zensation restaurant 3 times and enjoyed our visit, Karen very nice and polite explaining how it works so thank you to her. She had only been there 3 months but will hopefully still be there when we return. Sergio on the bar always addressing husband by name and asking how we are and cannot fail to mention legendary Samba who is like the face of playa park. Full of energy and always makes sure you are happy and satisfied making you feel like a valued customer. Serves in the zensation restaurant and the bar and is so funny. He even recognised us from 2 years ago. Cocktails made fresh and found all drinks ok - could do with a different lager than tropical but it’s drinkable. Rooftop pool lovely for relaxing away from the bustle of the pool and entertainment during the day. We opted to lazy there most days and enjoyed it again. Nice to see Gino still providing the entertainment but also has a sidekick milen who is good at his job. Kids games and dances, bingo then external entertainment at night. We enjoyed the group in unison and the man who did Motown on the Saturday although was a shame so many people left - we thought he was really good. Used the spa once which was nice for a wee change. All in all another great stay and will hopefully stay again next year although not sure what banding is best to book as it doesn’t seem clear.
