Barceló Corralejo Bay - Adults Only

Summary Book if you want a chilled peaceful holiday. In my opinion, it's a bit pricey for what you get. This hotel is all-inclusive and half board. The lunch menus and drinks list will tell you what is included in all-inclusive. The ice creams are not all inclusive and will be added to your bill to pay at the end of the holiday. My bill had an extra charge from the spa that i did not attend, but this was quickly resolved as it was clear it wasn't my signature. My room was great. Large bed, modern shower, dual sink. Yes, you have to pay for the safe, but it's a small price to pay for safety works out about 17 quid for the week. Gets cleaned daily, mine usually between 10 and 12 towels and sheets are only changed if towels are left on the floor or card is left on the bed. There are about 3 pillows each, which is perfect for me. There is no iron, but you can request at Reception for no extra charge. The keywords stop working if you put it next to your phone. I tried to avoid this, but unfortunately, I had to ask reception to reactivate 3 times in a week. More detail Drinks are all generous measures Margarita is not quite a Margarita. They add this lemon cordial to it instead of lime.if you try to have it without the drink is too strong, it would be good if they added fresh limes. Tequila sunrise - again, not quite right. Seems like there is no orange/grenadine balance as the whole drink is red. Espresso Martini-im is not a fan, but if you are, it tastes good. Cruzcampo beer - very nice. Similar to peroni in my opinion Cava- as its Spain, you won't get prosecco you will get Cava. Food Breakfast is a great buffet, lots of variety. Eggs made to order, including omelette. Croissants, pan au chocolat sausages bacon. Fruits, cheeses, and hams. A couple of coffee machines and delicious fresh orange juice. Lunch is a la carte at the pool bar, pizzas toasties, chips lasagne that sort of thing. They also do a variety of cocktails. It's available 12-4 if you go at 1 it will be busy. One day I waited an hour for my pizza. Its not usually that long. Would be nice if they stayed open until 5 as its a big gap until dinner in my opinion. Dinner - my first night, I tried a bit of everything, and unfortunately, it all tasted the same. Bland. The salmon was always good. Pasta is pasta, so it can't really go wrong. Some of the pizza and bruscetta were OK. I enjoyed the fried rice and beef cheeks. The best night was Asian night Salad and dessert bar is standard. Ice cream and a small selection of cakes and sweets. Staff Loretta on reception is adorable, very friendly, and a great welcome I received from her on my arrival. Ilara's friendly, smiling personality is infectious. She makes you feel special all hours of the day. She is an asset to the team. Juan- is great. He is always so friendly and efficient. Absolutely amazing hotel staff very friendly and helpful some funny had an amazing week cannot fault hotel extremely clean it was like a home from home our very own little piece of paradise so relaxing food amazing loads of choice really cannot fault the hotel or staff

Lovely 3 floor hotel with two decent size fresh water swimming pools. Our room on the 2nd floor overlooked the pools. Room 2114 was nice and light, clean and spacious. The bathroom has a double sink and walk in rain shower. A/C is decent in room. Nice sized balcony. WiFi good throughout hotel. Reception / lobby very large but lacks A/C. Staff on reception were ALL extremely friendly - I’ve never experienced such fantastic service before from everyone on the reception desk - particularly Loreta and Yasser. The Pool bar staff were also most helpful and friendly - Francisco and Jorge in particular and an a-la carte lunchtime menu was very extensive and tasty. Buffet service for dinner and breakfast was also excellent. We went all inclusive and all the drinks we wanted and more were included. Really great hotel with tremendous staff and food. Short walk to local bars, restaurants and shops. Thoroughly recommended. One negative- you have to pay 3 euros per day to use safe in the room. This should be free. Truly great holiday and a must stay hotel if in Fuerteventura. Thank you to all the staff - you are great.

We are just waiting for our return transfer as our 2 weeks in Barcelo Corralejo Bay comes to an end we have had a great holiday from start to finish it’s been very chilled - Welcome was late evening and very friendly and as the evening dinner service had finished they had laid on a cold buffet which was very nice at that hour , we opted for a higher floor double room with a pool view which we had , half board and being gluten free there is always a little apprehension before i book somewhere new but the dining reception team and chefs at this hotel where amazing - I was given a little card on arrival with the GF symbol on and was advised to show this at each sitting I was shown around all the food by the chef and advised what I could and couldn’t have this made me feel very included during my holiday and I had varieties of meat, fish, vegetables , salads, desserts that I have not always had the opportunity to have in other hotels. Thank you Barcelo because for me this is a big part of my holiday being able to eat and drink without concern. Our room was lovely and kept clean to a very high standard throughout our stay - beds and towels changed frequently. No issues getting sunbeds after 9 when the pool opens and as early risers we used the well equipped gym and I attended Pilates several times during our stay. The entertainment was mixed some where fantastic but some nights it went a bit flat as no background music but it depends what you like as bar open till midnight. We didn’t always watch as we enjoyed walking to music square on some evenings which is worth the atmosphere and experience too which is a 10 minute walk away . I also attended the macrame and ceramic classes and made lovely souvenirs during our stay which was a lovely experience to be a part of. My partner and I visited this hotel on all inclusive in August 2024. It’s a very good hotel in a good location, our first trip to the island and we would definitely go back. Food & Drink - very good selection of AI drinks, the beer was Cruzcampo and you can choose from top labels on spirits, order bottles of wine, Prosecco and most cocktails. Breakfast was excellent (as was the Mimosa!). Lunch was a la carte, which made for a nice change throughout the day. Dinner had a very good selection with different themes every day. We didn’t order anything we didn’t like. Rooms - On arrival we were given an upgrade to a deluxe room on the ground floor that walked straight from the patio into the swimming pool area. The sunlight stayed into the evening as we sat outside our room after a day at the pool. The room was very spacious with plenty of room and comfortable beds (pillows were amazing!). Useful to know: WiFi at the hotel is free and good. It states trousers at dinner but that is not necessary. Smart shorts fine for men. Entertainment was fairly light, a small stage for various acts. We enjoyed most of the acts for what they were. One singer in particular was incredible. The staff are superb, but clearly very busy (shoutout to Jorge who we really liked). The island can be windy when you venture out, but in the hotel it’s often just a very welcome breeze in the summer heat!

This is our second time at the Barcelo Corralejo Bay and it didn’t disappoint. Rooms spacious and cleaning staff excellent. We stayed half board. Breakfast amazing and dinner always had plenty of options. Pool opens at 9.00 am so no mad dash for sunbeds. If hungry during day pool bar provides lovely food and drinks. Also the location is perfect to get supplies in the Hiperdino and pharmacy. This hotel is fabulous but this is due in no small part to its staff. Special mention to Diana in the buffet restaurant, a really lovely lady. Also our dear friends Tai, Driss and Jorge, who are so kind, friendly and always go above and beyond. Wonderful holiday and we hope to return again.

Wonderful!! What a fantastic holiday we have just returned from. Every aspect of our stay was amazing. Staff at this hotel are so pleasant and nothing is too much to ask. Facilities are first class, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Entertainment of an evening very good and varied, during the day we attended the ceramics session and the macrame class, we enjoyed this so much we have ordered our own ceramics kit! Pool area very clean and heated pool was lovely. Only thing I could suggest is can we please have English style bacon, didn't stop me enjoying the available bacon though. We had a couple of nice talks with Guest experience manager, Juan Rodriguez, what a lovely man and very knowledgeable. Thank you for a lovely holiday, see you in October when we return.

Fabulous holiday. We went half-board. Drinks at hotel well priced. Location great, turn left your on the main *****, turn right the beach...but that isn't what makes this hotel worth 5 stars! Staff friendly and helpful at reception, always had a smile. Room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Food was varied and plenty of options. Breakfast was first class. Thank you Christobal for some yummy omelettes!. Always something to enjoy for dinner with chefs cooking fresh in front of you. The whole hotel team couldn't do enough for their guests. The best holiday hotel experience we've had in Feutev. Loved the 3 pools. Never struggled with getting a bed, but the no reserving wasn't policed. Entertainment every night..not all to our taste, but others were definitely enjoying. Entertainment stops at 10.30. It is quiet and a I mean quiet, except during aqua aerobics! A real mix of ages and nationalities here. If it's location, good food, and peace you're after...then this is the hotel for you

Maybe i'm not being as generous as I should be! The staff in this hotel are all very friendly, helpful and cheerful! We booked all inclusive as we have been going to Corralejo on and off for over 20 years and have walked past the hotel many times so this was the year we thought we would treat ourselves! Breakfast and evening meal is basically the same as most all inclusive I'm not a huge fan as nothing ever seems really hot. The pool menu was fantastic as an all inclusive customer we could have an excellent steak and simply paid 2 euros for it, the food was piping hot and there was a good selection. My main grump is we arrived on the Friday evening at 10pm so obviously we had no food that day at all, so when we went to leave the following Friday we went for lunch after we had checked out of our room at 12 which was what was required, thought as we weren't leaving the hotel until 5.45pm we would have a late lunch to tide us through once we had ordered I was chatting to the waiter and mentioned we were going home later and was at that point told out all inclusive finished at 12 and we would have to pay full price for our food and drink! I have been on many holidays abroad over the years and stayed at a lot of all inclusive hotels and this has never, ever been the case! Your all inclusive stands right up until you get on your coach to leave, we had not budgeted to pay for a meal on the last day!! We had paid over double what we usually pay in Corralejo for this hotel and this holiday and yes it was nice BUT not that much better than places we have stayed at 1/2 the price.
