HOTEL de LEN

We decided with Hotel De Len as our 3D2N stay in Dolomites. The room was very clean and the hotel service was great. It is in a small town in Cortina and we could feel the warmth service from the team. The team did a small upgrade for us as it was our honeymoon and the morning view was great! Would totally stay here again if we ever visit Dolomites

I had read nothing but great things about Hotel de Len. But to be honest it was a huge disappointment. The rooms are very small. We were traveling in Italy for nearly a month and had a lot of luggage. When asked to provide a luggage rack we were told there were none available at the time and they offered to put our bags in storage. However, there is virtually no place to store your clothes in the room. The restaurant was lovely as was the staff and the food was very good. But the $800/night cost was not worth it. With that comes a complimentary ONE hour visit to the spa for your entire stay. Moreover, no one can use the spa while you are using it. I am confused as to why offer a spa if hotel guests are limited to its usage AND you are opening the spa to non hotel guests!?!?! When we arrived, there was a woman at the front desk who was not very pleasant, warm or welcoming as some of the other staff members were. If she is the first person you are supposed to interact with as a guest, why wasn't she more cordial, communicative? I was so excited to stay here and really wanted to like this place a lot. But I would not recommend staying here. Go to the restaurant and have a great meal instead - it is well worth it! I travel often and know a good hotel when I stay at one. For those who wrote incredibly high praise, I would love to know what your bar is.

The room we booked was nothing like what was advertised. The “view” that was described was actually a view of the parking lot and no view of the Dolomites. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful and moved our room, but it appeared they were only able to because the hotel was empty. There was a thermostat in the room but absolutely no cold air coming in so we had to open the door that was connected to another hotel members balcony, plus allowed horrendous busy street noise into the room. The hotel being $800+ a night PLUS additional fees ($50 per night for parking, $25 room service fee when the kitchen is only 2 floors down) is absurd. The only thing I have to say about this hotel being nice is the staff. The updated rooms is the only thing this hotel has to offer and it does not make up for the poor room “view” advertising and uncalled for additional fees. Breakfast was included but the only thing you can order is eggs. Only allowing 60 minutes per STAY in the spa is not okay either, or again having to pay more if you’d like to stay more than an hour. I will never stay at this hotel again. It was a total rip off.

The hotel is adorable and the staff is nice. But for 800.00 I had higher expectations. We checked in at a reasonable time and was given the worse room in the hotel. Given the time limitation in the spa, the sad room and no coffee in the room we decided to just leave and go to another hotel. I would save your money and splurge elsewhere. Absolutely not worth the price.

We just had a lovely stay at Hotel De Len. The locations is perfect, 2 minutes walk from into the centre of the town. It is modern, stylish and cosy. There is a small restaurant with a really good quality menu and no problem dealing with my food allergies. The thing that made this hotel stand out however was the amazing staff. Always attentive, polite and helpful. Their attention to detail was really outstanding. Thank you, we will definitely be returning.
