Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina D’Ampezzo, A Radisson Collection Hotel

A preference of ours when skiing is to be super close to the lifts and the location of the Grand Hotel Savoia is not ideal from that perspective as it is a long walk or car journey to the nearest lifts. Putting that aside- this is an amazing hotel, made so by each and every member of staff who go out of their way to make sure you have an exceptional holiday. They really could not have done more for us from the moment we arrived until our departure. On our first night we ate in the Savoy restaurant where we were treated to some wonderful Venetian singers and an awesome pianist together with great food and wine. The bar staff were outstanding and looked after us well into the night! We were very kindly upgraded to a room with stunning Mountain View’s. The room had everything we needed including a bath which was appreciated after a day skiing. We were looked after with some generous room gifts including chocolate, pillow spray and a bottle of fizz. Thank you. Breakfast here is one of best breakfast buffets I have experienced. The range of fresh fruit, pastries and cold options is first class accompanied by great service. The man in the boot room- I am so sorry I can’t remember your name - was super helpful and even helped me take off my boots at the end of a particularly tiring day. Thank you. On our last day we had a delicious lunch on the terrace where there is food available from a hot grill as well as the restaurant menu. We loved this hotel and will be back-the walk / transfer to the ski lift is a very small price to pay for the outstanding benefits this hotel and the amazing staff have to offer.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The service was amazing. The front deck, concierge, valet and ski valet were awesome. The rooms were updated, although we couldn’t figure out how to turn off the heat so had to sleep with the windows open. Really enjoyed the spa. Had cocktails and coffee at the lounge many times. I’d return for sure.

I've come to expect perfection at Grand Hotel Savoia, but maybe customer service is the most outstanding factor, all the staff are just wonderful. While the meals are delicious, the wait staff make all interactions very pleasant, David the piano player is very talented and such a nice guy, Concierges and Reception✅ Dora and housekeeping ensure the hotel and guest rooms are squeaky clean. The Blitz drivers, who do the airport transfers, are such decent and obliging people who couldn't be more helpful with airport procedure. Enjoy the visit; it's not too good to be true!

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the staff at the Grand Hotel- I felt so taken care of. Their attention to detail, service, and professionalism was second to none. Beautiful hotel, fastidiously clean, and excellent amenities. My stay was seamless from start to finish, and certainly on par with any comparative luxury brand hotel. It was everything I wanted from my relaxing getaway.

The Grand Hotel Savoia in Cortina d’Ampezzo was an absolute gem for me this winter. A special thank you to Marco, whose charm could brighten even the toughest (skiing) day, and the amazing front desk team – Valerio, Sebastian, and Federica – for their immediate care and superb professionalism. Susy at the Lounge was simply exceptional, bringing good vibes and sparkling Prosecco with her impeccable service. Donata at the Spa deserves a special mention for her almost magical ability to read my mind and provide a truly relaxing experience. I’m so grateful for this wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back, who knows, maybe for the Winter Olympics in 2026?

From arrival to departure, the service here was impeccable! Genuine greetings from the staff by name, fantastic restaurant recommendations, and wonderful care each time we interacted with the staff. The bar area was fun and had great drinks and food. My wife enjoyed services at the spa and felt the technician was knowledgeable and had one of the best experiences (and my wife has been to a lot of spas!) Overall, the rooms were spacious and clean, beds were incredibly comfortable, food was great, and such a great location for walking in the town. The children enjoyed their stay as well, affirming they would love to come back! Special recognition to the concierge team including Chiara, Paulo, who were able to secure restaurant reservations despite being a very busy weekend and all the wait staff who took excellent care of us!
