To stay in Garni Raetia is truly a wonderful experience. Hosts Kate & Diego are experts at making their guests feel special. As a guest you are warmly greeted and shown to one of their beautiful spacious rooms. Kate & Diego are always available and enjoy talking to their guests and giving advise of places to visit and the many walking route options in the stunning scenery of Alt Badia. Breakfast is something to look forward to each morning, whether eaten in the breakfast room, the 'Stua dal Te' or, weather permitting, on the beautiful terrace. The Stua dal Te is a delightful cosy room, open to non-residents, where you can relax and enjoy one of their great selection of teas, tempting deserts and ice creams or a light meal. Garni Raetia is perfectly situated in Corvara, being close to shops, supermarket, restaurants, bus stop and the Col Alt gondola. We have stayed in Garni Raetia four times in under four years, so we can thoroughly recommend it!

Best stay in the Dolomites!
An absolute wonderful stay! Kate and Diego are probably the most welcoming hosts you’ll ever meet and made us feel at home from the moment we stepped inside the door. They have a lot of knowledge of the area and all the possible activities, and gave us excellent advice on biking and hiking routes (even checked if we were ok when hiking back from the mountains in a thunder storm!) The hotel is small and charming, with nice outdoor facilities, clean rooms and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!

The most amazing and lovely hotel set in the heart of the stunning Dolomites! The hotel is lovely and clean with an amazing breakfast! You have the most incredible hosts in Kate and Diego. Nothing is ever too much trouble! They have an in depth knowledge of the mountains and can recommend amazing hikes, bike rides and via Ferrata! I have never been treated by hotel owners with such incredible hospitality! If you are thinking of booking here then it really is a no-brainer!

The property is well placed in a spot we love , the rooms clean spacious and comfortable , breakfast fresh , varied and plentiful but most of all Kate and Diego are incredible hosts . Their welcome , warmth and huge local knowledge are amazing and made our holiday .

Dropped in for coffee after a day on VF…what a find! Service was friendly and so helpful, lovely atmosphere and coffee and ice cream sundaes to die for!!! Probably just as well we’ve only just discovered it!!!! Will definitely be back though !

For a while now, a few years in a row, we’ve been coming here to stay at this beautiful garni. Every visit leaves us feeling as if we’re reuniting with our own family. The incredibly welcoming and kind family and staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, the fantastic choice of cakes and teas and an incredibly cute bunny make this experience what it is. The hotel is located right in the heart of Corvara, with a very comfortable room and a fantastic breakfast. The hosts shared a wealth of knowledge about the area with advice on hiking options, open huts and restaurant recommendations, especially welcome as it was so early in the season. And when we had some difficulties, our hosts really helped us out. Above & beyond the call of duty. We're looking forward to our return visit to Garni Reatia and the stunning Dolomite region, summer or winter:)

We eventually stayed at Garni Raetia after a two year wait because of Covid - and it was well worth the wait! We were warmly welcomed by the owners Diego & Kate and shown into our bright spacious bedroom with a large balcony. Although the Garni is next to a road there is no traffic noise. The Garni is cosy and intimate and has a wonderful friendly atmosphere. There is a fantastic choice for breakfast. The comfortable Tea Room has an amazing range of teas (& coffee and a bar!) with delicious snacks, home-made cakes and ice creams. Garni Raetia has an outside terrace and garden with great views of the Sassongher mountain. Kate & Diego are great at giving information and advice on places to go and restaurants. They have made Garni Raetia very special with their friendliness and attention to guests. We have promised ourselves that we will return.

The owners were incredibly gracious and friendly. They couldn’t do enough for you! They’re multi lingual! They have sitting Areas in the front and back which are lovely. They serve ice cream and drinks.
