Hotel El Duque

This is not a full review. I just want to point out a couple of things. The lifeguards start stacking the sun loungers and chairs before 5pm. You can’t sit near the pools or go in the pools after 6pm. Lots of complaints about this. All inclusive - set meal times, no snacks in between. Missed lunch 4 times as we were out and about so had to buy lunch or wait until dinner. Also, be aware that on the day of your departure (regardless of what time you leave) your AI finishes at midday so you have to pay for any food/drinks after this time. On the positive side, there are ample places to eat at reasonable prices so wouldn’t come AI next time.

Just returned home after a week at this hotel this was our 3rd stay in this hotel and it did not disappoint we had a fabulous time and cannot fault any part of our stay, hotel in excellent location, room great, food something for everyone, staff outstanding and work very hard from morning untill night would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back thankyou for a brilliant holiday

We stayed at Hotel El Duque in February half term. It is a lovely place to stay, within around a ten minute walk to the sea front and beach. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent with a good variation of foods to pick from. Would definitely visit again.

We stayed in February as a family of 4 for 4 nights. The hotel room and facilities were lovely and clean, however the food was a real let down. There was no variation and nothing was hot, just like warm at best. The alcoholic drinks at Mel time were very restricted, if you didn't like the flat beer or wine then there was little other choice. The staff were overall friendly and we really liked the pool and location near to the beach.

Lovely hotel, spacious room which was cleaned everyday, good staff always smiling and interacting no matter which job they had. The animation team were brilliant with the kids especially Veronica and Alex. The location was a little walk from the beach but nothing unmanageable. Close to bars, restraints and shops. Plenty of activities going on around the pool and at night. Would recommend for a family visit. Food was varied and a good selection, even the funniest eaters could find something. The omelette station at breakfast was a great idea.

We just returned from a fantastic week at Hotel El Duque in Costa Adeje, and I can’t recommend it enough! It was the perfect family getaway, and our 7-year-old had an absolute blast. The best part of our evenings was the mini disco. Every night, the kids came alive with excitement, but what really made it special was the entertainer, Riccardo. He was so engaging and friendly, taking the time to interact with the children. Our little boy, who loves dancing, was thrilled when Riccardo showed him some dance moves. It made his night, and he looked forward to the disco every evening! The self-catering facilities in the apartment were great, allowing us to prepare our meals with ease while enjoying the flexibility of eating out when we wanted. The location is also perfect, close to the beach and local attractions. Overall, El Duque Aparthotel is a fantastic choice for families. With great entertainment, comfortable accommodations, and a friendly atmosphere, it's an experience we won’t forget. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!
