GF Gran Costa Adeje

I just got back from a fantastic 10-day holiday at GF Gran Coste Adeje, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the stunning reception area to the beautiful pool spaces, it truly felt like a 5-star experience. My room on the 5th floor had a lovely view of the pool and the coastline—spacious, clean, and with a great bathroom setup featuring a bath and double vanity. The on-site restaurants had a diverse menu, with fresh, well-prepared food and attentive staff. The bars offered premium drinks, although service could be slow during busy evenings. The entertainment was fun, though the magic acts felt a bit repetitive. The pools were clean and warm, and the no-reservation policy made finding sun loungers easy. With a planned refurbishment in 2025, I can only imagine how much better it will get. If you're thinking about staying at GF Gran Coste Adeje, go for it! The Jet2 all-inclusive package was excellent, and I can’t wait to return after the upgrades.

We loved this hotel! We were staying half board for a week, so had brekkie & lunch or dinner included. It’s nice and easy to swap between the 2 which is ideal if you have lunch or dinner plans elsewhere. Staff are all very pleasant and can’t do enough for you, hotel is all perfectly clean & constantly being maintained. Pool area is spotless, plenty of beds at the time of year I went & no subbed wars as they are HOT on the no reserving beds rule until gone 10am. Food - is amazing, one of the best all inclusive buffets we’ve had. SO much option, all very fresh & options changed every meal. We were very happy with the food! Spa ‍♀️ - probably wouldn’t recommend, it’s an external company and pretty expensive. The standard of treatments is just not the same as back home so wasn’t happy at all with the facial I paid 75 euros for. That being said I did have to complain about the service I received, which they quickly resolved and booked me in for another free treatment to try (which was much better, but still not amazing) so overall, don’t waste your money Rooms - I would agree with the overall comments of it being dated, we personally quite like the old traditional style of the rooms and they are big compared to the average hotel room. But they definitely need revamping, quite a few broken things in the room, cracked floor tiles ect & just doesn’t have a luxurious feel to them at all. But didn’t affect our time as we are barely in there. Cleaners were great, they freshened up the room daily which makes a huge difference. Overall, a great hotel and we would return and recommend! Especially after the revamp next year

Really pleased with the hotel and exceeded our expectations. One of the best 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. We didn’t purchase a sea view room but were very happy with our view of Tenerife and there is many picturesque locations around the hotel. The only issue we had was the distance the hotel is from local attractions and places to eat. It was a more quieter area perfect for a reset from busy life. The breakfast buffet was amazing with loads of variety and options for vegetarians. The pools are clean and well kept, sun loungers are comfortable and made the daytime very pleasant. We came as a group and played mini golf, tennis, and squash all included with the hotel. Staff were lovely and I would be happy and look forward to staying here again. Looking at the photos on the website the hotel looks exactly as they are, would definitely recommend for a good holiday.

Stayed here for 7 nights with my partner. Check in was quick and easy, reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is huge and has 3 outdoor pools and 1 adults only rooftop pool, all of which were clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and clean, we stayed in the sea view/pool view room and the view from our balcony was absolutely beautiful. The television in the rooms are not smart TVS buy we knew about this before our stay so we were prepared and brung our firestick with us to plug into the television so we could watch netflix etc. Couldn't fault this hotel its beautiful, Staff were friendly, plenty of food options during meal times. Air con was not the strongest at times when the temperature outside was hot (33 degrees) however we just left it on all day so that the room was cool when we got back to the room so no issues there, we actually got cold during the night so the air con worked well throughout the night. The hotel is in a good location, it's a short walk to Fanabe beach and is only a short taxi ride from most of the main attractions. There is a supermarket next door to the hotel which is good for buying snacks etc for the room. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Booked 5 nights at this hotel through ba holidays it’s rated a 5* but personally for me it’s more like a 4* check in was easy and quick our room was on the 5th floor room 545 first impressions the room was a good size had a little hallway with the bathroom and then u walked into the room which is a good size sofa and 2 twin beds put together there’s a telly safe and robes however it would have been nice to have had slippers to go with the robe there’s extra pillow and blankets in the wardrobe there is a fridge tea/coffee and kettle and free water the bed was comfy enough the air con well I don’t know whether it’s just standard in all the rooms but the air con in our room just didn’t seem to want to work if u stood in front of the air con it felt cold but I expected the air con to actually cool the whole room down but it didn’t we called reception and they sent a maintenance man up he did something and said in about 20 mins it will work again it didn’t work so we asked for a fan which did the job for us u get free amenities in the bathroom usually shower gel shower cap etc the shower was really good constant hot water and good pressure the whole hotel downstairs was very grand I can’t comment on the evening entertainment as we didn’t go to it and the pools looked lovely plenty of sun loungers so no need to fight I had noticed that my bed sheet had holes in it but didn’t notice till the last couple of nights the only let down was the air con I would have liked the room to be cold but that’s the only main criticism I have breakfast plenty of choices lots off food and drink to choose from tea/coffee is brought out to u however I would have liked bigger cups literally 2 sips and it’s gone breakfast is served 7.30-10.30am which is a good time however I will state for some odd reason our phones kept jumping back an hour and then forward an hour and got very confusing on what time it is so just be careful with that there are lifts at the hotel which is handy would I stay again yes probably plenty of shops bars n restaurants at the sea front I’m sure this place will be packed during the summer hols

I’ve been here many times but this was my first visit back in 8 years. The hotel hasn’t changed at all and I would certainly return. I’ve broken down my comments as follows: ROOMS Spacious, airy and lots of room to move about. Large bathroom with 2 sinks, bath, shower and bidet. The grouting did need redone and the shower loose and awkward to work (I flooded the bathroom twice). The taps didn’t have a high level of pressure in them and sometimes it took a while to get hot water. The bed was fine a little on the hard side but pillows were great and linen of a good quality. The furnishings are adequate but very out of date and the couch was sloped in the middle. This didn’t bother me as I never sat in it. There’s a fridge which is great and the TV was fine. There didn’t seem to be any air conditioning but in June we managed. The water is replenished only on the first day after that you have to get your own from the bar or room service. Good sized balcony though no sun in the afternoon with the pool and sea view and it’s quite enclosed so a little dark feeling. FOOD Excellent choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Absolutely something for everyone. Good timings for the food too, you would never go hungry! POOL BAR Good service though the pizza and burgers sit for a while and aren’t very hot (barely lukewarm) I sent mine back and got a fresh one and new fries. Good choice of drinks downloadable menu using QR code. ENTERTAINMENT Good overall, loved the Elvis show. Good service from the staff taking drinks orders so you can enjoy the show. I thought with it being the Euros there would be a big TV set up but there wasn’t. No bingo at the pool anymore quite geared towards kids I felt. No quizzes or stuff for the adults. POOL Plenty sunbeds available and the rooftop pool is nice and quiet. The pool towels are quite thin and could probably do with new fluffier ones. Many pools to choose from. RECEPTION Staffed well, never waited long if you had a question but I see they removed the free champagne at check in which was disappointing. LOCATION Fab location and within walking distance to some shops, bars and restaurants. OVERALL I’d return and maybe try the a la carte restaurant. I just feel some rooms need modernising. Amazing hotel, clean with great service, food for everyone's choice situated in great location. The roof terrace is great for those wanting complete relaxation in the sunshine. The rooms are so lovely with a big bed, large wardrobes, large bathroom and shower room. Rooms cleaned daily with bed sheets changed and fresh towels. Not one thing that I can say I would improve it has been amazing we have loved every minute. The menu choices and food quality was fantastic dome really great dishes served. Cannot wait to see the hotel following refurb as it is already such a fantastic venue for couples and families.

We have recently returned from an 8 night stay at the GF Gran Costa Adeje as a family of 2 adults, 1 child aged 2.5. There are many mixed reviews on here and socials, so I'll keep it simple if you're thinking of booking: Pro's: 1) Hotel spacious and very clean. 2) There are plenty of sun loungers around the pools (note this was during term time). 3) Rooms serviced daily. Fresh towels a plenty. 3a) The housekeeping team is the friendliest bunch. 4) Breakfast has an amazing choice. 5) Good location and amenities nearby. Yes, it's up a hill, but it wasn't unmanageable (for us) Con's: 1) rated as 5* but more of a 4 max. Due refurb soon apparently. 2) all meals expect breakfast need booked in advance using their 'app'. 2a) lunch never started until 1.30pm and dinner 6.30pm (if I remember correctly) 3) There were various maintenance issues- toilet cistern constantly running, bathroom door not shutting. Toilet roll holder falling off the wall, the mixer to switch water from bath/ shower kept falling off. Only half got sorted once reported. 4) no English TV channels worked in our room. We got told there was an issue with the satellite, yet other guests didn't have an issue. 5) pools were too cold (for us) 6) replenishment of tea/ Coffee isn't routine. 7) Minimal plug sockets 8) you can't fill drinks bottle at breakfast (this was for out child not us) 9) we got stopped 3 times attempting to take a banana on the way out of breakfast for our son. 10) the play park was only open during kids club hours. 11) mini disco never started until 8.30pm 12) entertainment average at best. Over all it wasn't for us. Probably fine for couples or older families. But we wouldnt return. Bad outweighed the good unfortunately.

We have once again had a wonderful 10days at the Gran. The staff are lovely and friendly and really make this hotel stand out. We were in a beautiful pool side room. Which was cleaned daily, extra towels and turn down chocolates in the evening. We were surprised by a bottle of cava and chocolates as a welcome from the hotel. We were in room 296, which had views of pool and the sea and was very handy for pool, restaurants etc. The food has got even better since we last here in Feb. Breakfast choices huge, for me whodoesn'tt eat meat- there was always something - smoothies, omlette and lots of vegetables . We were b&b but ate twice in evenings for buffet, which was really great selection. Once we ate in a la carte restaurant, this was beautiful and a fantastic experience. We had several salads/tapas lunches by the pool and couldn't fault it. We chose to have a truly relaxing break away and had just that! Thank you so much Gran!
