All inclusive resort BUT…you’ll be charged for literally everything else. Forgot your iron? That’ll be €5 per day to use the hotels & a €20 deposit. (Stayed in many, many hotels and NEVER been charged to iron my clothes!!!) Need to wash anything? Well. That’ll be €5 for a 30 min wash- & another €5 to dry. Also. Their drinks are fine-but fancy a baileys or a different cocktail and that’ll be €5 too-just kind of cheapens the hotel in my opinion. So the food. The food was actually a surprise. From Reading the reviews prior to coming, I was dreading the food-in reality, it was actually ok. A week is ample-it is very samey, but that’s AI for you. There was always something to eat. Breakfast was probably best. Replenished frequently. Fried/boiked/scrambled eggs. Bacon. Beans. Tomatoes. Toast. Meats. Fruits. Yogurts etc. you’ll find something. Lunch was also ok. I’d have a baguette with salad and cheese or ham. Nice and filling. No issues there. Dinner. We ate out every night. That was our choice. I cannot comment on dinner as we didn’t experience it. Rooms I’m sorry they’re not for me. They’re dated They’re basic. And the beds. I feel like my back is broken. For anyone saying the beds are comfortable -i dread to think what you’re sleeping on at home. They are bad!!!!! The sofa bed in the living room is also not comfortable and the sun beds are not comfortable. Your back really suffers!!! Oh and it’s worth mentioning. You have an allocation of hot water which really doesn’t suffice for 2 to shower properly. It’s runs cold really quickly. Pool The pool was fine. Inconsistent music. The first part of our holiday was really quiet. Clientele nice but it all changed once the half term kicked in. So as of the weekend, the clientele changed and we were ‘forced’ to partake in the stupid towel on bed race and I despise it. But you had to do it or you’d not have one. Holidays shouldn’t be focused around getting up stupidly early just to secure a bed-we all managed perfectly well not doing that Monday-Friday. The families that arrived on the weekend changed everything. They were boisterous. Noisy. It had a really different vibe. I really wish management could do Something about the securing beds with towels-it’s a real deal breaker for me. We go to Disney/universal every year and have never once had to do this or seen it. There is a kids pool too, but beware. Parents apparently don’t put swim nappies on babies / toddlers nowadays and one sh@t in the pool forcing its closure. Come on parents. That’s not ok. Finally the staff. They were all really sweet. They cared. They were friendly. The bearded lifeguard was really lovely. Animation guy worked his socks off. No complaints there at all. We went to caleta de fuste a few times-it was a 5 min trip and was about €3 in a taxi. Ate at Fado rock twice-highly recommend also the restaurant next door to that-el patio which id also recommend. Booked easyjet package for 3 nights over a weekend. Price included flights luggage transfers & hotel all inclusive in a superior double room. For the price we paid didn’t expect it to be the ritz & had a great time. Ignore the negative reviews for the price you pay you could eat out one or 2 nights if unhappy with food. Breakfast was the best meal lunch & dinner ok. There isn’t a big selection but the food is replenished quickly & was hot! Guests helped to clear there plates so we just followed suit. Our room was one that had been upgraded first floor last block with seaview. Room was clean only thing missing was a full length mirror in the bedroom! Had to plug hairdryer/straighteners in the bathroom as only mirror over the sink. We didn’t get great weather so pool bar wasn’t open but the inside one was & we never had to queue very long. Drinks were good local gin with 7up free & the Bacardi equivalent was acceptable too. Jordi the entertainment guy was great he’s on his own & works hard. He remembers everyone’s names don’t know how. Couple of the guests were great singers that helped when karaoke on. People got up danced & enjoyed themselves. Hotel close to airport which was another reason we choose it as we were only there for 4 days. We could go back if we got another cheap deal it’s certainly good value for money.

Beds very comfortable, rooms spacious, clean with everything you need, kettle and fridge. Friendly, helpful staff, food was nice, fresh fish, Mexican, stews, chicken, pork, beef, vegetable lasagna, salads, pasta and chips, spuds, there was something for everyone to eat, hotel spotless, shop and gift shop well stocked. €13 taxie from the airport each way.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. The room was spotless, we were surprised to have a separate lounge as we only booked a double room and expected just that. The food was as you expect all inclusive to be, slightly repetitive but something for everyone. It was hot and readily available, constantly being refilled. The pool area is spacious and well kept with plenty of sunbeds available at all times it never felt over crowded. The staff were lovely, always happy to chat, very warm and welcoming, even though some guests were incredibly rude to them, not speaking to them very nicely at all. Manners cost nothing! All in all if anything let this holiday down it was some of the guests...very loud, can't handle their alcohol, rude, obnoxious and just not very nice at all. Apart from that I would definitely come again. Castillo centre €3.45 in a taxi bookable at reception. Gorgeous beach, bars and shops. Lovely coast path if you prefer to walk x

ROOM Stayed in a recently refurbished room which I’ve posted pictures of mid-trip. Absolutely excellent, clean and well decorated. Only thing that could be improved would be a mirror in the bedroom area. FOOD Food choices are more limited than other higher rated hotels, however the food you get is fantastic. Always find something to eat, even for fussy eaters. I don’t recall ever needing to blow on food due to it being too hot from a buffet, but I did do that here! DRINKS We are seasoned professionals and like to take advantage of all inclusive alcohol offerings. We bought a plastic pint glass and a plastic wine glass with us which bar staff filled up without question. There is a “2 drink” limit, but that’s fairly standard and if you need to complain about that then you should have a word with yourself. ENTERTAINMENT The Animación team are delightful, they clearly work hard to make sure people are having a good time but there is also no pressure to join in. They always have time for a chat. Karaoke is great and the bar area at night really has a pub vibe which gave the hotel some character. During the day there is music playing round the pool which added to the atmosphere. SUMMARY I’ve stayed in 5* hotels and travelled all over the world. Do not pay attention to bad reviews , this hotel is unbelievably good value and delivers more than I expected for this price range and level. The onsite shop is really handy and not even expensive. I would return to this hotel without a doubt.

Having just spent 14 nights here we really enjoyed it All staff we have come across are polite and helpful ,cleaners work all day washing and mopping floors etc , our room was very clean and tidy , bar staff polite and helpful, and the pool attendant is great , entertainment is on most days and he is also very good . Plenty of sun beds to go around ,there are 2 pools one for small children and a large pool salt water ,cool but once in fine , pool bar serving hot and cold drinks from 10.30 to 5pm There is a small shop and gift shop on site , laundrette , gym etc Plenty of chairs up near main area if you just want to sit . Bar area is open at night plastic glasses outside which is fair enough,we didn't really do entertainment at night we just sat and chatted . Restraunt we found ok plenty of food yes it's not 5 star like I think some think it should be , but we enjoyed the food plenty of variety etc The only thing that lets this place down is some of the people who go , moaning and complaining all the time , looking at the food like it's slop , or being rude to staff , being drunk all day everyday causing trouble etc , I'm all for good time but some are just disgraceful way they behave to staff Would we return yes we would no problem at all , really enjoyed it and weather was very nice
