Playamarina

we rented out an appartment here for a little less than a week. The town is small, so i would definitely recommend having a car in this area, unless you're fine with only staying at the pool and/or beach, and staying in the immediate area for food — the area is blocked off by waterways on all sides but you can take a ferry into Isla Cristina for a few more options (also small though) We took a day trip to Sevilla and Olhao portugal from here, which were very doable. The appartment itself was fine, nothing too special. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Bathroom had a smell. sadly we didn't have nice neighbours, they were Brits who played loud football games and music all day, and they didn't listen to our requests to tone it down. The staff said they couldn't help us. We were also missing linnen for one of the beds. we went to the desk a few times in the afternoon before it was finally delivered around 21:00. The pool area is nice but it depends which part of the resort your rooms are in, which pool you can use. Since we were in the appartment area, we had one pool available. The hotel had 2 + a slide, and daily dances / music to entertain the children attending. We definitely preferred our side, but the sound from the other pools was present most of the day. There's many exts and entrances to go to the beach, it's only 5 mins away, which is great.

We was in Playamarina in June 2022. We had 3 rooms in total 6 adults and 2 kids. Pros: + rich all inclusive (good snacks, good drinks and alcohol like Malibu, Ballantines, Smirnoff, Bacardi etc.), + nice pool with slides for kids and jacuzzi, + amazing beach close to the hotel, + nice entertainment each evening (thanks to animatoras), + free WiFi everywhere, + when we went for a trip we got very nice lunch package, + great resident support (in case TUI Travel Agency). Cons: - incomprehensible that you can communicate in English only with one bartender and at the reception !!! - low cleanliness at the room and in hotel, - dead mosquitoes at the room walls (paint or sponge with soap will help?!), - lack of entertainment in area, - bland food, little variety and no vegetables for breakfast, always cold spaghetti!!!, - bad, slow and unpleasant service, dirty plates and cutlery, uncomfortable chairs in outside part of restaurant, - there is an option to eat at beach bar for 40% discount (same food as in hotel, bad and ugly area - not recomended), - poor coctails quality (just 2-3 juices and alcohol), - uncomfortable sunbeds, - tragic toilet at the pool, dirt and light switch damaged with cables outside (this is dangerous!!!) - main pool is to deep and shallow pool have slides exit so no fun in pool for non swimmers, - jacuzzi available only for +15 yo. even with parental supervision, - cleaning products not refilled (shampoo and soap), - only 2 towels in 4 person room, - no water at the room when we arrived, - ugly and dirty balconies with plastic fornitures and dirty clothes dryer, - damaged fire alarm hanging on the wall, - 25 EUR for 1.5 hour on spa area without treatments, - no Hispanic culture feeling in whole hotel.

Hotel con unas habitaciones grandes con 2 camas de 150 , no tiene una decoración nada especial , TV pantalla plana algo pequeña y minibar , el balcón con mesa y dos sillas de jardín y tendedero con visita lateral al mar , el baño con bañera y ducha separados y el retrete y vide también separado todo bastante amplio y viene el tema importante de restaurante el cual el desayuno está bien pero comidas y cenas no está a la altura de la cadena de hoteles Senator / Playa , hay hoteles de muchísima menos categoría de nombre que les da mil vueltas en la riqueza de los menús y no me refiero a la variedad de entradas , ensaladas y acompañantes si no a platos principales los cuales eran tres o cuatro mas la cocina en directo que era algun pescado irreconocible en trozos pequeños y cerdo o pollo y algún día se estiraban y ponían filetitos de ternera algo " nerviosos", en cuanto a los postres un poco de todo , lo que si esta bien es las bebidas las cuales estan incluidas para todos los clientes con una gran variedad , eso si de grifo y de autoservicio. En general y en mi opinión para estancias en AD bien , en MP y PC flojea y TI no se las marcas que entran . Piscinas y jardines limpios y cuidados.
