Barceló Teguise Beach - Adults Only

Traveling as a young couple in our twenties, it’s safe to say we are quick to jump on an opportunity to stay at a place that appears to tick all the boxes - and my my, did Barceló Teguise deliver. We arrived approximately two hours before check in where we were greeted by an immaculate reception area and by the most wonderful, helpful reception staff. The young lady who checked us in couldn’t have been more polite and helpful, she made the process quick and easy and luckily for us our room was ready so we had the opportunity to check in early! We were offered a glass of Cava or juice whilst we were checking in! We were guided directly to our room by a bubbly young man who took our suitcases on a trolley right to our room. Our room? Stunning. We had booked the standard deluxe double room in which was very well presented. Cleanliness and presentation was definitely a theme throughout the hotel and it did cease at the room. Ample supplies of toiletries, fully stocked mini bar and plenty of towels. The room itself was spacious enough for two, featuring a king sized double bed, bed side tables with storage and charging points, desk with storage and coffee-tea station. A large television which hosted a good selection of channels. The sink was located between the bed and bathroom area with a double sided light up mirror - a god send for a couple trying to get ready. The toilet and shower were separated by frosted glass doors, the shower being half frosted so whoever is in the shower can continue watching TV. The balcony was a fantastic size for lounging, ash tray on the table alongside designated towel/air drying racks. Our view was of the main pool and even during the day was not loud. Room service is optional and well explained on a card left on your bed, we did not often use it and cleaning staff do pay attention to the door hooks. The pool area was again very well presented. The lifeguard is also the towel guardian - at check in you are presented with cards which can be traded with the lifeguard in return to Barcelo beach towels and can be swapped each day for fresh. There are ample sun beds to choose from but be aware they are reserved early by towels… there is a 60 minute return rule however this did not appear to be enforced. The loungers are of very nice quality alongside the umbrellas with both being adjustable. There are bins around the pool area for both smoking and litter. There is no pool-bar per say however the Breeze bar is located at the main entrance to the pool where you can obtain drinks/snacks of which is well staffed with friendly bar tenders who make you drink and you are welcome to take it to the pool. You have the option to either pay then and there with your card or alternatively to add it to your room tab in which you pay at the end of your stay. Several times a day someone will come from the bar to obtain the reusable plastic cups. There are different activities and entertainment each day, highlights for us was the guitar

I've stayed at 6 hotels in costa teguise now including the paradiso formally the melia. The barcelo in my opinion and it is just my opinion is faultless. Perfect food and amazing choices, attentative staff all day long and nothing is too much trouble, and everyone has an approachable let me help you smile. Our room we are in currently as part of our engagement holiday is 2011 and a junior suite and it's one of the best if not the best rooms I've stayed in. Being a dj I live out of hotels so this says a lot. We will be coming back as this place rocks. Awesome people service and accommodation making our holiday perfect. Thank you barcelo.

Never fails to let us down, from the moment we arrive to a friendly greeting we feel settled in. Great rooms, beds and view. The Big plus there is All the staff, reception, Restaurants and kitchen teams, bars, cleaners etc. Thank you to Marion, Julia, Javier, Yaslim, Salek, Jose, Yalena, Lillian, Ana, Abenchara, Olga, Manual, Ali, Bryan, Dneye, Pino, The list keeps on going.... Live background type music most evenings at B-Lounge Great cocktails, while Champs provides food from lunch time with sports tv, and in the evening more Live Bands. The Breeze Restaurant provides a Fine dining experience during the day. More staff have been recruited and may be in training, but in the main the service is excellent.

Stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights The hotel grounds and bars are lovely If you are looking for somewhere quiet this is your place to come but I do think they could play music more at the pool as some days they play no music at all and it can do with some relaxing music everyday but they did have music on one day we were there and it made such a difference. We were bed and breakfast as we like to go out and about when we go away, plenty of choice for everyone you won’t go hungry and all fresh. I sent an email before I arrived requesting a high floor room but we did not get the room I asked for but they moved us to another room the following day The rooms are spacious and clean very comfortable beds the only downfall was the showers were not great you only got roasting hot or very cold but overall we had a lovely staying and are looking to come back next year! Thank you

LOVELY hotel!! Is only a 4* but could easily be a 5. Very relaxing and quiet hotel, if your wanting to relax then this is the place, currently on our 3rd night here and we are really enjoying it Beach isn't far and there are a few to choose from in the area, lots of bars and shops in the area and we visited the Aquarium today We have a junior suite with hot tub on the balcony and it was very clean and spacious , rooms are very clean and cleaners do an amazing job aswell as being very friendly, room 2067 with a limited sea view Hotel is super super clean, food is great for an all inclusive. No issues reserving beds or getting drinks at the bar It has been sooooo windy but the breeze has been great alongside blue skies Staff are friendly and welcoming, prosecco on arrival, only snag would be nobody to take your cases when you arrive later so lugging big luggage bags up 2 flights of stairs after a long day is hard work No complaints otherwise! It's a very quiet hotel so if your looking for an all inclusive with a vibe this is not the place as its pure tranquil! A lovely stay and I would highly recommend, thank you Barcelo 2nd time in Lazarote, very different to Playa Blanca but find the locals here very welcoming and friendly on the island as a whole

Firstly this is nowhere near a 4 star hotel rooms are tatty and appeared nothing like the pictures on the site we did tell the hotel who offered another room but the balcony had sun all day and the room was quite so better the devil you know Food was never hot and at times cold and very repetitive at times too busy for us so had breakfast at a local cafe Champs bar is terrible service and over priced We did get a free bottle of fizzy wine because of the tatty room but may be better to sort them out which they said they would Staff though are very helpful and polite

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Warm welcome with the offer of a glass of Prosecco upon arrival. The reception area is beautiful and very clean. My room wasn’t ready (check in is 3pm) but I was able to use the facilities right away. I found it a little confusing for a few days what was/wasn’t included in the all inclusive (AI) - turns out pretty much everything is as nothing was charged for. Some staff ask for your room number and ask if your AI, others don’t so that does confuse you at times. Food was lovely. Breakfast (from 7:30am) is buffet style with lots on offer including some gluten free options which suited me. Lunch you can either have in the breeze bar ordering off the menu or champs bar ordering off the menu. Dinner is then back in the main dining area 7pm start. Lots of tables, never had an issue getting a table any day / time. Lots of food options on offer including chefs who cook meats / fish fresh for you. Table service for dinner regarding drinks orders. Pool was beautiful, loads of beds although it does get busy. The beds around the infinity pool tend to be less used if you can’t find one around the main pool. There is some entertainment every day such as cocktail making, wine tasting, painting, Pilates, all fairly peaceful. There was also a 2 piece band one day and a violinist another. Sundays there is a DJ which is the most lively day, otherwise it is very peaceful and tranquil. Don’t go if you’re looking for something very lively and upbeat. In the doorstep of the beach and the main areas for outside bars and restaurants. Didn’t see the evening entertainment but there did seem to be singers on some occasion, again they weren’t on late so if you want something more lively you’d leave the hotel to go wandering. Room was a good standard, a little dated in some respect. The bed - wow amazing! The comfiest bed I’ve ever stayed in!! Heaven. If you have a room with a jacuzzi this is nice, it’s not a hot tub but it’s nice enough to again relax and chill out in the evenings. Some are on the balcony and some inside. I emailed and asked for an outdoor one and got this. They try to accommodate as best they can! Overall I would definitely go back and recommend the hotel for those looking for a relaxing break.

Lovely location, well priced for full board. Excellent selection of drinks available within the package. Food wise, we were very impressed, especially by the staff ‘Brahim’ in the Champs spots bar in particular really looked after us, welcomed us every time and helped to make our visit a very happy week.
