Apartamentos Celeste

Great location near the main square, quiet at night, we were in block 3 in an apartment away from the road, 2 balconies, one with 2 sunbeds, kettle, fridge and basics provided, rooms are basic but clean, 2 single beds pushed together but are comfortable, a key is provided to open the gates to the apartment blocks 1,2 & 3 so you can choose which pool to use, block 2 pool was the heated one

Just had a really good week here with family. Yeah the rooms are basic but are very clean and cleaners come in nearly every day making beds sweeping moping. We stayed in block 1 my sister was in block 3 and thought the same very clean nice basic apartments. The pools in block 1 and 3 are freezing but you can go on block 2 the pool warm and more room around that pool. Will definitely be back had a blast!!!

We stayed in January 2025 in Block2. We were given room 208. The room is lovely with upgraded furniture and appliances. The main downside is that the room is over the bars and we were woken each day at 6am when they were opening up. The towels are changed every 3 days which I feel should be done more often. The pool in block 2 is heated which was good. There was plenty of sun loungers to use around this block as it was quieter time of the year. The location of the apartments is excellent as you are literally on the doorstep to the main square area. Yes we would go back but not to rooms over the bars. Please bare this is mind when booking.

Where to start! Celeste apartments are ideally located in the heart of CT. We stayed in a superior room in block 2 which if you book you pay more money as these apartments have been refurbished to a very clean, modern standard with what you need for a holiday which includes a microwave, hob, utensils, plates, washing up liquid, tea towel plus more. The cleaners do a fantastic job and change towels every 3 days, and bed linen every 7 days. If you are in an apartment downstairs be prepared to hear the noise of chairs and furniture being moved across the floor which can be quite annoying if you want an early night or a lie in bed in the morning. The downside of Celeste is that people who are staying in other blocks for example 1 or 3 are allowed to come and use the pool in block 2 ( apparently because it is the warmest) the gate key all guests are given fits all blocks. Now, we found this very annoying as there were people from other blocks coming in and putting their towels on sunbeds and also having friends from other hotels into the complex which for us was a security issue and is totally unfair to those who had paid more for a superior room in block 2. People also had music around the pool which is totally unacceptable, Celeste should be a little more tolerant than to allow this. When we complained to reception their response was to say that they could not do anything until after 10 pm which is laughable as reception is closed at 7 pm. We kindly asked several people to turn it off or down which they adhered to luckily enough. Celeste staff should be aware that people want a relaxing time around the pool area and not a disco. Maybe have a rule that music should not be played as this can upset other guests'stays. I also think that guests should have sunbeds on their terrace which would be an added bonus as not everyone wants to lie around the pool when you have your own lovely terrace to lie on. Celeste just needs to rethink their rules a little and maybe this place would be worth another visit but until then we will not be returning which is a shame as it is only these few points that let our whole experience/stay down.

On first impressions I really liked the place, clean and tidy, apartment was a bit sparse but it was fine. The complex was very compact and our apartment 122 was right at the back through a little tunnel on the ground floor. We had no view whatsoever as all we could see was the high wall that surrounded the complex, although we didn’t mind so much as at least it was private as there was only one ground floor apartment near us and one above us. The rest of the ground floor apartments had no privacy at all. The apartment was quite cold on an evening and we had to sit wrapped in a blanket as there was no form of heating or even cooling whatsoever but our main problem was the water pressure. A trickle at most came from the tap and the shower was worse than useless. It wasn’t strong enough to rinse shampoo out of my partners short hair never mind my long hair! And forget a bath, you have to run it through the shower and it’s cold before it’s full. We did go to reception to tell them but I’m not sure if they came to look at it because we had no communication from them although we did see the maintenance man opening a drain near the pool but it did not improve. After searching trip advisor I now that this is a common problem here, possibly too many apartments crammed together is too much for their water system. The location was superb, two minutes walk for everything and the staff we encountered friendly. Celeste was brilliant value for money and if the water hadn’t been such a problem I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again but would book an upstairs apartment but unfortunately it was a deal breaker for me having long hair. If you don’t mind a half hour long Palavar washing your hair under a trickle and having to fill jugs from the very slow taps this would be a really good place to stay.

Delightful apartment in block 3 which was adults only and I was a solo traveller. Needs updating but perfectly functional and everything one needs. Cleaned regularly and towels changed very frequently and patio brushed every day. Staff were friendly and I felt very secure at it is gated. Near facilities- restaurants and square and beach and location is ideal. I was there December for 30 days and I would recommend it as basic but very good value for money
