The hotel and breakfast is ok, but they don’t clean neither change the towels everyday

Los apartamentos serenity valen la pena. Muy nuevos y amplios. El desayuno podría mejorar, con algo de variedad saludable, todo era para público inglés. Y por mucho cartel que hubiera, a primera hora hamacas reservadas aunque no estuvieran en ellas en horas. Faltaría algo de supervisión en este sentido.

Upon arrival was went to the reception where was greeted by the friendly staff member. They gave us all the information we needed while staying here. We had a ground floor apartment near the swimming pool. The room is very clean and fresh with cleaners coming round regularly to clean and do the beds. The pool is very clean but very cold once you’re in it keep moving. The restaurant food you cannot fault we eat here everyday and had lots of variety in the evening and in the morning. There is a menu board just outside the restaurant with the days food listed on it. There is also an information board with all the events on for the week. They have competitions most day with Ping pong/pool/darts/shooting and for the lucky winner you will get a free aqua gym lesson. Luie the entertainment chap is great and a credit to the hotel. He organised a trip to the local beach to do snorkelling which costs €5 to borrow the snorkel. Also we did another trip to Arricefe lovely views and lovely bars. Jet ski hire is worth it costing €60 for 20 minutes. Electric scooter hire was great €15 for 1 hour.

Stayed for a 50th birthday on bed and breakfast basis with 3 rooms booked. Rooms clean and well equipped with self catering kitchen. Pool area clean with plenty sunbeds and staff great. Breakfast was good and overall value for money. Location also good.

We came here in September for our 20th wedding anniversary. Never been to Lanzarote before, and we loved it. We stayed on the serenity side and had a ground floor room as requested. The room was really clean, well equipped and looked over the pool. The food was lovely, and all staff we met were very friendly. We have looked at coming back again as we loved it that much, however we have just seen they lock up the loungers on serenity side now which would put me off. The best part of the hotel was how quiet it was, and having people banging around to unlock and lock again in the evening puts me off. We loved sitting round the pool before breakfast, having to wait til 10am sadly has put us off returning.

I feel very disappointed with my experience after other reviews are so positive. First night we arrive (10pm) the room is sweltering. We went down to reception where they advised us to leave the windows open and seemed reluctant to give us a fan which they only loan out in week slots for €16. We are here for 10 days so have paid €32 to sleep in relative comfort. When I complained about price, dirt, rust and the noise of the blades hitting the cage, I just got the answer that they outsource them from another company and that’s how they are. I was not told about a deadline to repurchase the fan (as they only allow to rent it for 7 days at a time) and received a rude letter under my door stating ‘other families are waiting for it’. We got 2 shampoos and body wash on the Saturday we arrived which would have been enough to last us until Monday (maids only clean Monday, Wednesday and Friday) but we have not received any more in the 10 days we’ve stayed here. It was too much stress having to keep asking for more so had to spend money on buying shower products. The cleaning is adequate but there has been a few dead and alive insects and a drink spill stain that has been here from the people before us. It is dated which can come across as dirty such as the large orange stain around our sink. The shower was fine but fell off its hook onto your head when the water pressure wasn’t holding it up. The room is spacious but the furnishings are hard and uncomfortable. We are self board and are happy with the facilities regarding that. I didn’t use the pool as it is not heated like stated but teeth chattering cold, and often dirty. I didn’t have a problem getting sun loungers but found it ridiculous I had to wait til 10am to get one and that I had to lift it off the stack myself. There were a few days I had to help the elderly people lift them. When you get a bed it’s 50/50 as to whether it’s comfortable or you feel every bar through the fabric. The pool bar does decent food at a decent price but is not open for drinks until 12.30. Breakfast finishes at 10.30 so you have to go 2 hours without water, into the hottest part of the day. We have not had a decent internet connection since arriving. I’ve seen reviews where they claim there was a problem but they fixed it, they have not. Sometimes we can get internet in the living room but never in the bedroom. And when we do get internet it isn’t good or disconnects often. I did complain to the receptionist about much of the above but was told it was ‘not his fault’ and wasn’t offered any sort of help or compensation. I have been so upset and disappointed by the lack of care shown and the amount of extra money I have had to spend to make this hotel bearable.

We enjoyed our week at Sirocco. The apartments are spacious and clean. Yes a bit dated but not too bad and what you expect from a 3 star. Beds comfy and nice to get more than one pillow. We stayed B&B. No issues with choice/quality of food at breakfast. Good selection of bar drinks and snacks. All staff very friendly. Nice location for daily walks by the sea and out to local shops, bars and restaurants. The pool area and beds don't get released until 10am. The people hanging around to pounce spoilt it, but if you wanted a space by an umbrella you needed to get in early. Overall lovely week and would go back.

First thing I have to mention is Dora on reception she is so nice, nothing is too much trouble for her and always a welcoming smile. Rooms are spacious and clean we like rooms 131 to 127 as you get your own garden area with sun beds. Food has been very good, I’m a fussy eater and I’ve had some delicious food every day. All staff are so nice, gardeners, cleaners and restaurant.

We stayed at the hotel Siroco for 10 nights at the start we of September. The hotel was very clean and the rooms have plenty of space. The pool area is clean and there’s plenty of spare sun beds. We found all the staff to be very polite. The only slight negative was the food was at times a little repetitive. We found the hotel very quiet on a night time even though we didn’t stay in serenity area. Thank you to all the staff who made our holiday special.
