Apartamentos El Guarapo

Thanks you El Guarapo for a lovely stay. We had an apartment 46 which was lovely! Bright, big and very clean with lovely views from all round the apartment. What a lovely place to stay. Everything was clean and you had everything needed on the apartment. It is in a quiet location but just a five minute walk from the main square area. There is a lovely pool bar which is open for breakfast and then again in the afternoon for a while. We had a lovely cheese plate on our last day. Great area with lockers toilets and showers if you need them if you have a late flight. There were a few putting towels on loungers very early and then not going out for a while…but I guess you get that everywhere. Will definitely be returning

Small gated complex with a pool and restaurant for breakfast and drinks. The apartments are clean with good cooking facilities although we only bought breakfast items and walked the short distance to all the local bars and restaurants, there are plenty of choices. The fabulous beaches are only a stroll away too. If you just want to chill but be only a short walk from all the action, these apartments are excellent value. Plus they’ve just had new umbrellas installed around the pool area

A very relaxing , peaceful area.clean , comfortable apartments .we had a lovely weeks holiday .the staff are very friendly .the receptionist ( from london) is so frienff so my and welcoming and will do anything for you . The breakfasts are cooked to order -they are huge portions - and very good quality -they set you up for the day!

Just back from a week in El Guarapo . Fabulous cosy and safe complex. Really clean. Apartment had everything we needed. Staff are so friendly . Nice bar on site with excellent food. Close to beach and restaurants. We will definitely come back

The breakfast was super delicious but not always so fast, also only between 8h30-10h30 so if you went on a daytrip you couldn’t have breakfast as pick up was quite often at 9h already. And the signature dish ‘toast advocado’ only available for 2 or 3 persons, so you have to be quick. Reception service is bad!! One time the electricty fell out in our apartment while the reception should have been still open but no one was there. We called the emergency number three times, no one picked up or called back. When we adresses this matter they said we should have been to the reception. When we said it was closed no further reaction came. WiFi was only available in the living and terrace (not bedroom), last day no WiFi and because of that Netflix on the television was not working. We didn’t book breakfast before hand, only on the airport during self check in and still we had to pay 15€ per person per day while if you booked it upon arrival it’s only 12€. Room was also cleaned only once, when we have let this now they brought new towels and on the last day in the afternoon they proposed to clean when we said it was not needed anymore. Great appartement, great location, good breakfast but service can be a lot better.

One year on and yet another great stay at El Guarapo. WhatsApp excahange ahead of our arrival was informative, Natalia welcomed us and admin was completed with minimal delay. So pleased that we had been allocated our favourite first floor apartment as we requested. The apartment contained all we needed for comfort and for making breakfast and snacks if required (we ate out every evening). Plenty of space, storage, kitchen utensils and appliances and a comfortable bed with mattress topper and good bed linen. Shower was excellent with a good supply of piping hot water as the apartment has its own water heater/boiler so you aren't impacted by other guests using supplies. Air conditioning not required as windows can be opened to keep a good air flow. The pool area is cleaned daily, there are some new umbrellas and we never had issues with sunbeds although we don't tend to spend more than a couple of hours there at a time and not on a daily basis as there are plenty of walks and other places to visit. Pool itself was cool on windier days but I could tell that there was underlying heating to take the extreme cold away. The whole complex is relaxed and quiet with some soft music playing from the bar when that is open - nothing intrusive. El Guarapo is not Adults Only but there is not really much for children here other than the pool. We always book dates outside of UK school holidays so encounter few problems with poolside noise - if you want a lively holiday with your youngsters then this may not be the place for you, if you want a quiet holiday then check your dates and avoid school holiday time. Cleaning ahead of arrival was thorough, during our stay towels were changed every other day when the apartment was also given an interim clean (bathroom cleaned, floor mopped, bins emptied) Bed linen changed half way through our 10 day stay. Easy to keep tidy between times as you would probably do at home - this is not a 5 star luxury hotel so expectations should be set accordingly! The location of El Guarapo is excellent being close to Playa Bastian, a selection of good restaurants, supermarkets, bus stop and an easy 10 minute stroll from the centre of the action in CT. We see no reason to look for alternative accommodation when we next visit Costa Teguise. Thanks to all concerned
