THB Lanzarote Beach

Sorry to say that this hotel in it’s current guise has run its race. Rooms are in dire need of renovation with fixtures and fittings being tatty, cleanliness of pool, public areas and rooms not being appropriately addressed by hotel. Food has definitely deteriorated over the years been visiting at least twice a year since 2015. Hotel used to be a decent 3*+ before being sold as a 4* a few years back. The hotel is nowhere near the standard of a 4* e.g. the Barcelona (next door) the Oasis Lanz Beach Mate or the Raddison Blu. Yes! it’s not as costly as the hotels mentioned, however a 4* rating needs similar standards. Only plus points are for the staff who at least try to make your stay enjoyable.

Can't fault this hotel at all. Stayed half board for a week 29th September to 6th October 2024. All areas spotlessly clean. Room cleaned every day to a high standard. Room was spacious, modern and very comfortable . Beautiful pool view from balcony. Beds were so comfy! We decided we'd prefer to eat out in the evening. Reception changed our half board breakfast and dinner option to breakfast and lunch. This can be done on a daily basis or for your entire stay. Staff were fantastic in all areas of the hotel. Pool area was lovely. Complimentary cocktail each morning. Good choice at buffet restaurant. Can't wait to go back. Would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the staff for such a wonderful, unforgettable holiday.

Just got back from staying at this hotel. It was brilliant. The staff are so hard working and friendly especially the entertainment duo, Dan and Rosemary. They are brilliant, they work so hard at keeping you entertained all day with plenty of different activities to suit everyone. The food is really good , plenty of choice for everyone. The location is the best you can wish for. Just 2 minutes from.the square where you will find lots of bars and restaurants . Beach is gorgeous just outside hotel. We also walked up to the other end of tequise and found some lovely little bays perfect for snorkeling. I could go on.and on about all the positives staying at this hotel. If you want best room in hotel where we stayed , double balcony , huge room with separate bedroom then ask for 3212. Don't listen to any negative reviews.

Where do I start. On arival we had to find our own way to the hotel room with suitcases and poor access squeezing through chairs and small footpath. There are broken tiles round hotel and in room aswell as wobbly hand rails. Many broken and loose tiles in the kids pool causing my 2 year old to cut her foot on and refuse to get into the pool for the rest of the holiday. The plug litrally pulled out of the socket. When complained they said they would have someone come and fix it, it wasn't until we informed the rep on the last day of our holiday it was fix. The bed and toilet were wobbly and there was a broken tile infont of the kitchen sink. Pool said heated but was freezing and dirty Food shocking Broken lift for a day which ment carrying my youngest and the pushchair down the stairs Room never swept resulting in sand in bed Had to hunt for toilet paper Aircon shocking Paint peeling from walls all around the hotel exterior Stains on bedding and really uncomfortable to the point my kids didn't sleep well and me and my partner both god bad ears from the pillow which eased after not using. I had to use a plane pillow Towels rock hard and scratchy Bugs in the room On arival my eldest found Pill outside the main door to our room. Food area stunk like sewerage, dirty glasses and plates most Food not labeled or labed wrong but also poor quality. Kettle but no plug in the kitchen area, when kettle was used the handle got so hot I had to wait before picking up. no mugs, tea coffee spoons ect.. had to fill our own water bottles daily Rubbish bags always in the way to the room one occasion a sweeping This IS NOT a 4* hotel at an apsalut maximum it's a poor 3. I am not one to complain usually but i had wasted my hard earned money on this holiday and my poor daughter couldn't even enjoy the pool as she was to scared to get in it! Would had rather stayed at home.

We spent 10 nights here and quite enjoyed it even though it's a bit of a mixed bag. The location is phenomenal, there's a wonderful beach put the rear and we had a sea view which is fantastic to wake up to. Out the front up the road there's another beach that's amazing to snorkel at. The food is good even though there's some odd choices like lasagne for breakfast, but people were eating it for breakfast so who knows. There's food all day too and plenty to choose from, if you can't eat here you are simply too fussy an eater. The staff are lovely and work super hard, particularly the bar staff, there's a pub attached to the side which opens late afternoon. Why is this a 3 star? Well a few things. The pool looks magnificent when you are standing over it, but get inside and it's full of dirt, which I found super annoying as did others. I think they know as we mentioned it to reception but it probably needs fully draining to fix. The day music around the pool would be great if I was born in 1940, and although the entertainment team work super hard we found the games underwhelming. The evening entertainment was also poor, ABBA, some dude singing 50s music, kareoke (it's fun once) and more dated musical nights, we ended up playing pool most nights out by the pool, but also they really need more than 1 table it's hard to get on at times. Probably put about 300 euros in the thing. As 2 adults and 2 children, we would usually get a bedroom and the kids would sleep on the sofa beds, or there's sole form of room partition. Not here though, you get one big room so forget bending the wife over unless you get 2 rooms. Rooms have kettles but no cups, no tea, no coffee. If you are coming here, you'll have a nice time, it's a bit dated but that's all of the canaries and that's what we like. We wouldn't return purely for reasons above and being first time in Lanzarote we like the other islands more but it was a decent holiday. With a few management tweaks it could be a 4 to 4.5 star.

Visited for 3rd time, lovely hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, food good also something for everyone, drinks really gud everywhere is really clean, can't wait to go back would definitely recommend this hotel it is central to everything.

Overall has been a nice place to stay, right beside the beach and 5min walk to cocktail bars. There are numerous water activities and for the most part enjoyable. However as we made our way over to the buffet we noticed cockroaches right beside the food!!! Really put us off (now we are eating out, waste of all inclusive)

We have just returned from this fantastic hotel after a two weeks holiday. This was our second visit this year and our 15th in total. From start to finish we were truly looked after by all the staff during the holiday . Big shout out to Daniel, Rosemary and Irene (entertainment team) for keeping us thoroughly entertained throughout the day and night and their encouragement during the sports . Finished 16 certs to myself, 12 to my husband!! The food was excellent again apart from one night when it was abit cold and the choice was random, however still managed to find something. The entertainment during the day and evenings was superb with various shows on during the week and singers on in the brandywell bar at the weekends. Lookout for the contortionist lady and juggler partner, absolutely amazing act. The rooms could do with updating abit but are very clean and comfortable and we were well looked after by the cleaners on a daily basis. The reception staff and bar staff were once again fantastic, thank you for everything. We have heard alot of rumours regarding changes to the hotel now that it has changed ownership , all I can say is PLEASE DON'T change the format of this hotel as its why we keep returning year on year 2,3 times a year. We have now visited this hotel 15 times in the last 6 and a half years and we have talked to people who have visited more times than we have! Also when we have talked to new guests visiting for the first time they said they would definitely return to this hotel. So please do not fix what doesn't need mending, the format works and you have no end of repeat customers who absolutely love your hotel.

If there was a zero star option I would have used that. The hotel is tired, dirty and disgusting. The rooms are big and we had a sea view. However, paint is chipping off all walls and ceilings and the furniture was all chipped. There was a kettle in the room plus a microwave and hob but there are no cups, or any other cooking utensils or crockery/cutlery. The food is a health hazard, raw burgers, melted ice cream which has been refrozen and nothing is hot. We heard of a few guests who were taken ill after eating there. Thankfully our tour operator took our complaints seriously and moved us to a neighbouring hotel (at an extra cost to us) The reception staff were nonchalant although the assistant manager was pleasant.
