Three Ways House Hotel

Nice and cosy hotel to stay in. However, we arrived quite late and the cafe was closed.

This was a return visit for us and our friends. Our friends had actually stayed here on Honeymoon 51 years ago, we’d been here 12 years ago. The overall experience was generally positive; the accommodation was comfortable although the Syrup Sponge Room was described as a half themed room which seemed peculiar. Our room, The Chocolate Pudding Room was fine except for an oddly shaped cushion. We ate in the restaurant which was very good apart from the Crab Ravioli with Bisque; there was wet Spinach in the Pasta and the Crab was completely overpowered by a bitter tasting Bisque. The Picpoul wine was excellent. Service was good. Breakfast was fine. There was a couple of niggles. Firstly the lack of a Real Ale at a Country Pub/Hotel and secondly, when I called to book our evening meal they could not find our room booking. I had to call back to give the details of our booking and payment.

Beautiful building in a stunning area but a big let down of a hotel experience. Our room was huge but was extremely dated and dirty. We had been at a wedding at the fabulous Mickleton farm where every detail was perfect, service brilliant rooms spotless food delicious and attention to detail off the scale. To then return to Three ways House with its musty smelling corridors and our room which had furniture that was tired dated and mismatched, a bath that had black mild marks around the bath no extractor fan or window, ancient thinning dusty carpet and a ladies product found behind a cushion on the sofa was disappointing, but then to be kept awake by a noisy party going on in the hotel till 2.30 am was awful. We paid £245 for one of the worst nights spent in a hotel. Reception on checking out asked how our stay went I mentioned the lack of sleep and was told “yes apparently there was a party last night, sorry”. I read reviews saying there was new ownership in 2022 but can’t see any signs of updates or improvements.

The pudding club wow absolutely fantastic Enjoyed every minute a very nice lite meal to start off with, and a great variety of summer puddings! Vicky was absolutely brilliant would definitely return big shout out to stefan with the banoffee pie!

The hotel is delightful. We had a big, airy room and comfortable beds. Tv and WiFi available. Our room had great view of the town. Service was friendly, and the restaurant is reasonably priced and delicious. This has been a great experience in the Cotswolds.

An really good experience all round. As I had a foot problem and was walking with a stick and withour asking was moved to a superb room near the lift. We has an excellent meal served by Olly and his friend( who's name slips my mind. They made the experience memorable and took alot of trouble over us. All in all a great stay and we will be back. Thank you to the staff.

The Pudding club experience was so worth a trip and quality of food evening and service! It’s a friendly, socialised casual evening. It’s hosted by the quirky Tim in which he hosts the evening as your served with a main meal but then 7 full portion dessert dishes! Worth the price and for the birthday present for our party.

Dirty, plumbing noisy, bedding ripped. Didn’t sleep as plumbing noise sounded like someone was being sick all night. Room was dirty, dusty, floor dirty. Not impressed. We ate out as didn’t want to risk in-house due to cleanliness outside were rat traps and weeds, dirty ashtray on outside table

We stayed five nights with friends while on a motoring holiday in the Cotswolds. Our rooms wasn’t huge but was perfectly adequate for our needs. Choice for self service breakfast was very good and the three nights we ate in the restaurant all very good with “fish and chip” night particularly good value at £35 for two inclusive of a bottle of wine. We found all staff to be very helpful and friendly, reception, breakfast and evening with a special mention to Holly for her cheerful disposition and putting up with us but all staff we encountered were a credit. Would stay again if visiting the area.
